What a location had everything space comfort river grounds views

The apartment was excellent, had all we needed for a relaxing stay, with a country, luxury feel. The grounds are amazing, wildlife running about in tranquil setting. My daughter is into photography, and was in her element in the gardens. Although rural, Duns very close, Berwick and Eyemouth less than 20 minutes away too.

Geweldig verblijf. Het overtreft je stoutste verwachting. Je voelt je als een koning. In de avonduren komen de vossen, herten, hazen en fazanten langs op het landgoed.

Would highly recommend. The accommodation was exactly as described - the location is beautiful and very relaxing. Anne was a wonderful host.

The grounds are absolutely stunning, and have a lovely little area to sit at - with a fire pit - for when the weather is warm. Host was accommodating and responsive when we had a few questions or needed some extra bits in the house. Living room is incredibly comfortable and spacious so plenty of room for everyone staying. Anne had kindly left some delicious bread, milk and a few other bits for arrival which was a nice touch. Bathroom is beautiful and definitely a highlight of the house. Kitchen is well equipped with all sorts of glasses [including shot glasses!], plates & cooking bits. We all had a wonderful stay and couldn’t have picked somewhere better for the occasion.

By no means a negative, but just an fyi for anybody else staying. The fridge is quite small, there were 5 of us for 2 nights and it was full so if you’re staying for longer, it may be worth buying more frozen stuff as they have a huge freezer which can be used. Also suggest bringing slippers - bedrooms & living are carpeted but the rest is stone / tiled so could be a bit chilly in the winter.

The place as we called ‘the castle’ was exactly as it looked in the photos! The decor was tastefully done, couches and beds were so comfy and the whole place was spacious. The bathroom was huge and had plenty big white fluffy towels. The grounds were lovely, and was so nice to take an early morning walk. We all had the best stay ever, would definitely go back. We had ages from 25 to 80 and all loved it. The welcome pack was so thoughtful too. The owner Anne sent a lovely text before we arrived, and the key was easily accessible from a lock box. We were going to Berwick upon Tweed so it was so handy. Thank you so much for the best stay, wish we could’ve stayed longer than 2 nights.

There was nothing at all I could find fault with this place! It was brilliant, would recommend to anyone.
