FLH Faro Family Flat with Balcony

The location was within walking distance to alot of restaurants. Parking was decently easy to find in early December. Grocery store very close and coffee shops handy. The view was spectacular, and the place is HUGE! Nice balcony for enjoying the view.

The entrance is a mess! Smashed postal boxes, and very dirty. The elevator seemed like every trip up and down to the 11th floor was going to be your last. The door to the apartment was not an easy entrance. The blankets were filthy, stained and just dirty. Beds felt like you were sleeping on just a box spring. Pillows were old and just worn out. Bedrooms didn't have alot of privacy with a balcony running the whole length of the building. The ensuite bathroom - I got peeling paint all over my feet while getting into the shower. The shower was moldy on the tracks and the tub smelled like urine. No wifi posted so had to contact the host. There was no hair dryer in the one bathroom, just random parts for one. People party all night on the streets, still drinking at 7am. Lots of sketchy ppl hanging around, but they didn't bother us. Kitchen and sitting room at opposite ends so kind of inconvenient.

Stayed as a group of 10 while attending the Faro motorbike rally. Apartment comfortable accommodated all guests and location was perfect. 5 mins walk from the marina. Minor issue when we arrived which was quickly resolved by the host. Excellent communication.

The location of the property was great and so spacious with fantastic views. Beds very comfortable.

The 2 bathrooms with hand held showers are in need of upgrades and there were not many plates, cups and other necessary kitchen equipment very lacking .

Location and size

It was musty and smelled as we entered the apartment. No timely response from owner that the code for front entrance was changed. Wi-Fi code was too difficult to find. One bathroom shower temperature was difficult to adjust and it kept changing the temperature. Lighting in family room could be better.

Very large and comfortable apartment with great views. Lovely location and plenty of towels.

getting into the property was difficult as the lock was strange. Also the independent shower did not work the whole time. There were a lot of empty beer bottles just left in the corridor. Also the front door code was changed without our knowledge and we could only get in as we followed someone else in.

I really couldn’t fault this apartment - what a gem! I stayed here with 4 friends so we each had our own room which was amazing for the price. The location is fantastic and very central. We were able to get in easily even though we arrived around 10pm with a door code and key lock box. The host was super helpful and the place had a lovely interior with everything we needed. Thank you!

The property was well-situated in town with easy access to local amenities, shopping, and food and drink. The apartment itself was huge! And it was very clean. We had a great trip, thank you!
