Stylish & Spacious City Center Georgian Townhouse

Location, spacious.

Lots of stairs, not super clean, awkward layout (no bedside tables, lamps too big, plugs for phone charging not convenient), bed bugs in at least one room, no storage in bathrooms, flooring (sisal carpet and wood with gaps) not comfortable without shoes, and entire place seems worn but not charming like an old pub. Very warm inside due to heat wave, but only 2 fans for 5 bedrooms and no air conditioning.

Excellent location, for us, wouldn't recommend for visitors with mobility issues, due to number of stairs.

House was slightly musty smelling. Top floor shower was great - problems experienced with the reduced flow of the other 2 showers.

Great location in heart of city within walking distance of everything Bath. Fun to live in a classic Georgian home for a few days. Responsive hosts.

The basement was bit musty which is probably typical of basements. But did not have to spend much time there since I housed only the kitchen and a bathroom.

Perfect, relatively quiet location within 5 mins of the main sites in Bath and 10 mins from the station. We were able to leave our cases when our train arrived. Well equipped kitchen and bathrooms and a welcome bottle of sparkling wine for us to enjoy. All 5 double bedrooms are of a similar size. We got a lot of steps in due to the layout of the house.

It didn't matter to us but: 1. Whilst there is a ground floor bedroom, you have to go down to the basement or up to the 1st floor. 2. I wasn't able to open the window in the bedroom which would have been an issue if the weather had been hotter. 3. The front door could do with some TLC - the area around the letterbox is damaged.

So easy to have a door code for us to go our different directions. There were 6 of us and everyone commented on the beds and bedding being so cozy. The stairs up and down worked out fine to offset all the eating we were doing. Appreciated the options for making coffee and kitchen set up. Plenty of dishes and drink ware for us to use. The washer and dryer were also a positive. Location was ideal for exploring Bath. Highly recommend.

There is not much you could really change. We expected the up and down stairs making the place efficient for having 6 people. The floors do creek/make noise but that was also expected in an older, historic building.

Cafe across the lane is great. Location was perfect. Beds were super comfy

The property was gorgeous with modern yet characterful rooms and lots of areas to lounge in. The property included a lot of really useful extras like a speaker and fans.

The hosts weren’t the most helpful when it came to answering questions about what the property included (e.g. they said there wasn’t a whisk but we quickly found one upon arrival).
