Great accommodation — everything you need for a comfortable stay. My wife especially appreciated the hot water in the shower. There’s a great surf spot within walking distance, and shopping malls nearby, which is very convenient. The room has everything you need: a kitchen area, air conditioners in every room (though the one in the living room is enough to keep the whole place cool). Highly recommended!

Owner very responsive, nice unit overall. Even has a washing machine! Staff where lovely!

Had to have your own netflix. Main bed was to hard for me but partner loved it.

Location Set up of room worked well for myself and 3 kids ranging from 12 to 19 loved having a personal washing machine come in handy The view from the balcony is beautiful The owners where extremely helpful and accommodating to any of our needs

The aircon kept leaking in the kitchen that is a serious slipping hazard and because of the constant drip it’s lifted some tiles that makes the sides of the tiles sharp

Well in advance we booked a 2 bedroom apartment for our family of 6. The day before $190nzd was taken from our credit card. Upon arrival when we could not find the address we phoned Jeff, he said he knew nothing of our booking and had let the apartment out to someone else. Jeff remedied the bad situation by swapping out the apartment we had booked and paid for with 2 rooms at Aston hotel, however only 4 beds were provided. My husband and I had to then pay another $100nzd so that everyone had a bed to sleep in. We had 3 separate rooms on 2 different floors which separated us from our children, which is why we carefully chose accomodation for 6 of us altogether in the first place. It was a very expensive night of accomodation for our family and not what we had hoped for. The staff at Aston were all very friendly and helpful, and the buffet breakfast was fantastic.
