The location was perfect it was so central. Walking distance to bars, restaurants and train station. Air conditioning excellence.

Nothing to dislike

This is a large 2 bedroom apartment, with two views and 2 bedroom the first view, window with opening and protection railing has very nice view of the surrounding area, we saw a great parade from that window one morning, the back balcony is over the surrounding buildings roof tops. Internally this is a large apartment, separate lounge and dining are which has 8 chairs, a very comfortable L shaped lounge in front of the TV,a completely separated kitchen also with seating for two, or you can move the chairs out to the balcony , they have a full size ironing board and good appliances, with a manual on how to easily use each appliance which is very helpful when you come from the other side of the world (Australia) and you cannot speak or read Portuges, this would be a great apartment for a small family, or three adults as the second bedroom only has a single bed.

The check in process was the stressful, firstly you are advised to call a specific number a half and hour prior to arrival to receive information as to wether you should go directly to the apartment or if you need to go to another destination to collect the keys, OK this we did, no responce rang both numbers I was given even knowing one would not be manned , so we are hanging at 830 pm at the train station not really knowing what to do next, so we decide to go to the apartment, a very personable gentleman met us ( we had a a great taxi drive that made sure we were at the correct place and would not let us get out of the taxi before ascertaining that he was the right person and the right place) Edgar, he advise the number that we were given doesn’t connect anymore! He very nicely showed as around the apartment, charged us E$20 for arriving that 9.00pm (Bookings .com advice late checking charge but at 10.00pm) and we paid the city tax. Also one roll of toilet paper in the apartment which could have held a family is not sufficient, this was advised and addition rolls promised but never arrived! The next morning we discovered a lock box for the keys outside the Door, all we really needed was the door code to get in - why do they not use that c Front door code and the key lock box - like all the other places we stay

The location is superb, very close to the centre and the old town . Great for self-catering or eating out.. very comfortable

Location is perfect, large and comfortable apartment, good wifi, a lot of shops and restaurant nearby, safe.

Washing machine was old and difficult to open.We had a lot of communication with the host regarding washing machine.

I have a number of recommendations which I shall list and what I didn’t like. However the property has an excellent location, was spacious and had a lift. The property company phoned me on our first day to say someone was coming to fix the shower. That’s great I thought. I mentioned the washing machine door was struck and needed attention. We would have left by the time the parts arrived to fix it.

I think all properties require love and attention. This property has not had the care and attention it requires to be a comfortable stay. This property deserves better from its owners. My traveling companion had a bath and the plug was jammed tight. I had no shower for several days. We had to buy the tool to release the bath water as there was no assistance from the property management. The mattresses were uncomfortable to sleep on and were (in my opinion) cheap and nasty. The dishwasher had to have its dial turned to help it compete a cycle. The dishwasher tablets were old and dry and didn’t work. The microwave smelt like the food was burning and didn’t heat food. I had to use my own Netflix account if I wanted to watch anything. This was the only place that was cheap I.e pay for a movie or don’t watch anything.

Excellent central location, short walking distance to train and bus stations, plus cafes, bars and restaurants . Apartment fitted with everything that could reasonably be expected. Hosts very helpful when taxi driver dropped us at incorrect apartments a couple of doors away !

No real issues - second bedroom might have benefitted from a double bed, mattresses could possibly have been slightly more comfortable, but this is clearly a matter of individual preference.

It is beautiful in the center of faro and spacious

Bathtub valve was not working and stuck so couldn’t drain the water Also the matchstick was not available to use the stove but later after 1 day they arranged it

Central, clean, great WiFi and television facilities.
