Aroma Suites

This property went above and beyond to help us answer questions, book tours and transfers. They even carried our luggage to and from our accommodation. Beautiful views and very comfortable bed. Definitely recommend!

4-room little hotel in the very heart of Fira. Everything is within walking distance. 15 minute walk to the closest winery. The owner manages the property himself and very nice and helpful. We had a room with a spa inside which was very cute. The room is sizeable with two ACs good enough to keep the air cool and dry. Extremely quiet.

The owner promised our friends (we booked 3 out of 4 rooms for our group) that on the day of their departure his employee would come early to cook them breakfast and help bring up their luggage. So, they had to wake us up to help them with their luggage and find the taxi that was waiting for them (the owner personally booked it, it it was waiting in the right spot for them) The employee never showed up. The owner profusely apologized later when we were having breakfast. The explanation was - it was raining the the employee decided not to take an early ride on his scooter (22 km). Not sure that I believe that was the case. But unfortunately not everyone can control their own employees.

Great view from our balcony. The breakfast team are great. They clean our room every day with clean towers.

The bathroom is sort of dim and the floor is sort of damp, no sunlight coming in, like a cove. It might be good to upgrade.

kurz: alles lang: die Lage ist unfassbar, Frühstück auf dem Balkon mit Blick auf die Caldera und Kreuzfahrtschiffe, wie auf den Fotos bei der Buchung dargestellt; Westseite, d.h. Blick auf den Sonnenuntergang; am Rand vom Stadtzentrum, d.h. angenehm ruhig, trotzdem ist man nach 150 m im Trubel das Zimmer ist klein, aber ausreichend und interessant geschnitten, gefühlt oder tatsächlich in den Berg gebaut das Frühstück wird liebevoll zubereitet und aufs Zimmer/Balkon gebracht der Gastgeber (und Hilfskräfte) ist unglaublich freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit, hat immer ein kleines Wort und auf Wunsch Ratschläge (bspw. Bootstour in den Sonnenuntergang), vielen Dank!

- nur Hinweise: für körperlich eingeschränkte Personen wird es ziemlich beschwerlich, aber das ist bei einem Zimmer auf dem steilen Kraterrand auch zu erwarten Internet-Poweruser dürften nicht ganz glücklich werden

Logement idéalement situé dans une rue calme de Fira. La vue sur l’océan depuis notre chambre était tout simplement magnifique ! Le lit était très confortable et la salle de bain spacieuse. Le petit-déjeuner inclus, servi face à la mer, était très agréable. Notre transfert aller/retour entre l’aéroport et le logement a été organisé par notre hôte (avec paiement supplémentaire), ce qui a grandement facilité notre séjour. C’était un vrai plus de ne pas avoir à se soucier du trajet à notre arrivée ni de notre départ !

L'eau de la douche n'était pas très chaude et comme il a plu fort pendant notre séjour, de l'eau s'est infiltrée sous la porte de la chambre. Cela n'a néanmoins pas entâché notre séjour !
