DE- spacious layout - beautiful terrace - comfortable bedding - modern bathroom and great shower pressure
- dirty floors, filthy floor mats, and sticky everything in the kitchen and dining room that we had to borrow vacuum cleaner, wash the floor mats in laundry machine, and take 2h to clean after arrival (a big surprise as we booked this place for it’s exceptionally high review scores) - very STRANGE event that our 4-year-old “saw” monsters living in the walls of that special dining room and became afraid to go into the room alone or passing by to use the bathroom; mind you, without lights on, that dining room with no windows is quite eerily dark and cold; despite leaving the low lights on in that room, the whole family could not sleep well for 2 nights, so we booked elsewhere and left in the middle of our 4-night stay (for the record, we never had this issue staying elsewhere before and also not after we left) - the seemingly kind host family also with 2 young children initially appeared to sympathize and offered to approve a refund but only to break their promise by ghosting both Booking.com agents and us in all communication; after several tries with no response, Booking.com agent could only recommend that we leave an honest review instead. - message quote from the host in WhatsApp “Greetings. We understand, but you’ll have to talk to booking.com. If they approve the refund request of leaving earlier for that reason, we can make a refund. Because the money from your reservation we first recive in October. Thank you for understanding. Best reagrds, Apartment Tina” - last message quote from Booking.com “No response from the accommodation Hi Elaine, We have required Apartment Tina to address the report of your experience during the stay. Unfortunately, they have not provided a response yet.
