Wohnen auf Zeit - Kell am See

A nice spacious modern apartment in a beautiful location. All the rooms in the apartment were very clean, complete and well cared for. There was a possibility to relax outside in the sun as well. There are two sun loungers as well as a outside table with chairs. The living room and kitchen feel very open and light. Furniture is comfortable. The location is very convenient. There are many possibilities, for example a visit to Trier, Saarburg, Luxemburg or going for a hike alongside a stream and many other options. We enjoyed our stay in the apartment.

Because we checked in ourselves and only spoke the owner ones for a very short time, we had the full self catering experience. We found we missed some infomation. There was some information available and enough leaflets about the area but an addition to the information already available would be helpful. It would be helpfull if there was some more basic information available about for example were to exactly park the car, the devices in the apartment, emergency numbers and Information about checking out. Due to the location of the apartment there is little daylight in bedroom and bathroom. Although good artificial lighting inside those rooms solves that problem, the option for ventilation in bedroom and bathroom is limited. We didn't find any ventilation system inside the bathroom. There is steam when taking a shower even with the underground window open and short showers and towels stay wet for a long time. In itself not a problem when on holiday, only the fire alarm in the bedroom hangs next to the bathroom door and is apparently also sensitive for steam from the bathroom and therefore went off after a short shower with the underground windows open in both bathroom as well as the bedroom. An extractor fan in the bathroom or alternatively moving the fire alarm away from the bathroom door would be useful if possible. Because of the location of the bedroom there are some noices from what sounds like pipes in the bedroom. To be clear it isn't to loud to sleep or anything, but for those that are sensitive to noices it is perhaps good to know. But that said, our total experience was good and we enjoyed our stay very much
