La Furibonda

This is an absolutely superb penthouse apartment with wide entertaining terrace and a small pool. Beautifully appointed. An absolutely delightful breakfast prepared by Fernanda and delivered to the front door. Fernanda's attention to detail in every respect is unsurpassed. THIS IS NOT YOUR RUN OF THE MILL B&B'S, IT WOULD UNDOUBTABLY BE THE BEST IN EUROPE IN THAT CATEGORY. In reality is a superb penthouse apartment with a host that delivers one of the most beautifully breakfasts that you could imagine. Close by there is an excellent deli with a range of excellent prepared meals that we took back and dined on the terrace. So relaxing, great 5 day break after 5 weeks of driving( some good day trips from Fano)

It is a pleasure to provide this review for our wonderful hosts Fernanda and Andrea. Furibonda is an amazing penthouse apartment overlooking long distance views of the very beautiful Marche region. It is furnished with impeccable taste, equipped with everything for your comfort and relaxation both internally and on the enormous wrap around balcony. Fernanda's beautiful collection of cacti and shrubs create a green edge and the hot tub which is brand new, offered a comfortable refreshing respite when the sun had hit it's height. The weather was glorious for our stay and the apartment provides very comfortable spaces to enjoy the sun but also plenty of good shade outside and excellent air conditioning inside. So night and day we were unstressed whatever the temperature outside which along with a beautifully comfortable bed meant excellent sleep and energy to enjoy each day to the full. We were greeted by Fernanda on arrival with enthusiasm and a warmth which made us feel instantly at ease and confident we had chosen well. Nothing was too much trouble. Her initial tour of the apartment equipped us to find anything we needed. in addition it was clear that she was available to help with any questions and fill any information gaps as well as to organise any trips or experiences we may request. the fridge was full of a wide variety of drinks which were for our consumption and the freezer had ice creams also for us. A store cupboard provided bread, pasta, cereals and other essentials. We had forgotten that breakfast was also provided daily but what a delight that turned out to be! At a time to suit us we were left each morning 2 beautifully presented boxes decorated with flowers and petals full of the most delicious, fresh and authentic local tasty treats. Gordon is a really good cook and a real foodie and he was blown away by the care, quality and love that was clearly delivered within what became a daily taste experience.

Nothing! It was superb in every way. From the high quality toiletries provided to the level of comfort, personal care and detail and passion that lead the way we were greeted and cared for to being dropped at the station as we left. From the bottle of wine that appeared as a treat to the gift of a book on the Romans in Fano. From the handwritten notes detailing the sumptuous ingredients of our breakfasts to the perfect cleanliness and comfort of the apartment. The amazing Adriatic coastline, Fano and Urbino awaited us and didn't disappoint in any way. It was easy to walk into Fano or catch a local bus.

What a beautiful apartment! We couldn't have been happier with our choice of accommodation. Fernanda was absolutely wonderful and made us feel so welcome. Our breakfast was delicious and we were so grateful for Fernanda's kind hospitality including being picked up from and driven to the station. We thank you and would return in a heartbeat.

La Furibonda is a wonderful place to stay in the authentic port town of Fano. Starting with a very warm welcome, a perfectly stocked fridge, high-quality equipment in the apartment and the wonderful terrace... and nothing was missing... cycling through Fano, great tips from Fernanda and a wonderful breakfast... The host was exceptional! The kitchen was stocked with treats, and the fridge and freezer were full as well! She prepared an exquisite homemade breakfast daily with special family recipes, local produce, meats, cheeses, eggs, and the most delicious desserts. The host was readily available at a moment's notice to happily help us with our every need. The property was inviting, spacious, immaculate, and beautifully decorated. The host provided bicycles to ride to the beach, town, and the historic district, The terrace was large and shaded and relaxing with a gorgeous view of the hills and the sea in the distance. An absolutely beautiful experience and we will definitely return!

no complaints-a perfect week!

The apartments located in a quiet residential area, approximately 3 minutes bicycle ride from the city center and 7-8 minutes from the beach. It is very modern and tastefully decorated. It has a huge terrace with several amenities. The absolute highlight however is the host and the breakfast they serve. I fully recommend to anyone who is looking for top quality and a very nice host.
