Comfort Apartment Brno-city center

Anna met us in the apartment and was really helpful, thank you! The location is great, close to supermarkets, cafes, trams and everything you need. There were 2 fans in the apartment which made it comfortable.

It's 2 flights of stairs up to the apartment, but the staircase is wider than most we've seen so it wasn't too bad.

The apartment was huge and the main bed was very comfortable. There were plenty of amenities, including ice in the freezer and decent coffee for the machine (not just instant!) Anna was very helpful and allowed us a later checkout. Location is right next to the Grand Hotel, which is more expensive and not as nice as this apartment!

There was no AC and it was hot, even with the fans going and windows open.

Lots of room.

In what felt like not a great part. Had to pick up keys from an Indian restaurant. Dodgy building and stairs up. Found a bed bug in my bed (although the apartment did seem really clean) but the vibe was off and we decided to leave and not spend the night.

Communication and organization of check-in, responsiveness of host. The apartment in old building with high ceiling, balcony to a calm street. Close to city center.

Apartment seemed to be really clean, but there was food left in the fridge (after previous tenants?) and used solid soap in the bathroom, which let us in doubts about quality of cleaning. Not sure if this was result of imperfect cleaning or good intention to save food and materials. The apartment has balcony to a nice calm street, but the entrance is on other side of the building, to a "street from hell". Maybe close proximity of railway station causes accumulation of (based on behavior) intoxicated individuals. We even had to call police to a violent fight in the street. Sadly, this is something host cannot change, but one does not feel well on such a place with family and small children. Host provided only one set of keys, which caused some minor complications for us.

The location of the apartment is very good. Close to parking (from 6 p.m. until 8 a.m. it's free). The apartment is big and authentic. Really recommend:)

Very friendly owner helping us with the arrival. The apartment is spacious and is located at the edge of the old town, very convenient. Well-equipped kitchen.

The entrance to the building is repulsive - intensive odour and trash containers in the corridor. The door to the apartment had no signs or labels hence not easy to find by yourself. Some places in the apartment have not been cleaned for a longer time (e.g. dust & spider net on some furtiture). Also, there were some left-overs of undetermined age in the fridge - I may understand food-saving attitude, but leaving 2 cm of Fanta or a spoon of butter (among other things) is a bit too much. One of the mattresses was extremely unclean, it was unpleasant to lay there despite the bed linen. Also, soap bars are not a great solution for a short-term stays - especially that one of the soap bars seemed not be unused.

We have been visiting Brno for the last 6 years and this has been by far the best place we have stayed at. The location is perfect with local amenities close by. Ian and Radka were really helpful and friendly, they showed us around the apartment. The apartment itself was perfect, the beds were comfortable - perfect for the 4 of us who stayed there. I would definitely visit again and stay here. Thank you again for a fabulous place to stay!!

Superb location!! Main train station & bus terminus literally across the road, yet quiet at night. Very near old town square. Friendly host, good communication. Spacious clean apartment with fully equipped kitchen. WiFi & washing machine worked fine. Highly recommended!!
