Very Clean. Good location in Haro.

We were told the AC in the living room was not functional when we checked in. The first night the AC in the bedroom started spitting water and part of the bed got wet and we had to turn off that AC. Although the host tried to get service it was not possible, but if the one on the living room had been serviced when it broke, we could have mage due. There was no window in the bedroom so very uncomfortable without AC. Also, although not a big deal, the property advertises washer AND dryer. There was no dryer. We selected this property because it had AC and a washer/dryer so we were disappointed.

Some noise from the bar downstairs might bother sime people but we didn't mind.

Fabulous clean and well appointed apartment. A 2 minute walk from the main square and approx 10/15 minute walk to wineries in the station area.

Parking was an issue. If there aren't any parking spaces in the areas suggested, you could end up a fair distance away. You can't get a car to the door of the premises, so wherever you park you're going to have to carry luggage a fair distance.

Gerardo, the owner, was in contact from the start and stayed in contact, offering any help which was great. He gave us lots of restaurant tips ahead of time too. I had Whats App contacts for him and Jorge the local contact. We parked a few streets away, about a five minute walk. Gerardo had messaged us beforehand and included links to maps of three parking options. Extremely useful! We parked in the second which was a free public parking area. I messaged Jorge, the local contact, with our approximate arrival time and then again 30 minutes beforehand and he met us at the flat. It is one floor up in a block and it overlooks the street below. It was right in the old town but the double glazing kept the rooms quiet. The flat was spotlessly clean and very modern. The kitchen had everything we could have wanted--a toaster, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, and quality cutlery, glasses, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine, and dishes. The lighting in the dining/living area gave lots of options for different light levels which was nice. Bedrooms spacious and mattresses just right--not too hard or soft. Nice modern bathroom and walk in shower. The flat is in the old town just a few steps away from the main Plaza square and its bars and restaurants. Jorge showed us on a map the closest supermarket which was on the far side of the same Plaza. A decent size with a fair selection and only 5 minutes walk and it was open until 10pm even on a Sunday night! The Barrio de Estacion area where all the wineries are located is about a 15-minute walk. (Although we booked an excellent 2pm english-speaking tour at Bodegas Manzanos Winery 5 minutes walk from the apartment.) The welcome bottle of local Crianza wine was a nice touch too. Thank you Gerardo. After we left, the owner even messaged me to ask if I had any suggestions for improvements and I honestly couldn’t think of one. A brilliant stay. Highly recommended.
