"Awful smells and filthy"

The host drove us to find some fruit when we arrived. It was very nice and she didn't have to do that.

You see how the photos of the place are quite dark? That's because they are hiding just how dirty the place is. It's seriously the dirtiest place I have ever attempted to stay. There are various bad smells and it seems as if it hasn't been cleaned in a very long time. I have allergies to dirt and mold and as a result, could barely sleep at night. The corners of the floor are caked with dirt. The kitchen utensils and kitchen have a bad smell to them, plus it was very dusty. The bathroom smelled like a sewer and hadn't been cleaned. The drains were brown and dirty. We couldn't even shower due to the mold and dirt in the shower. When I told the owner that we would not be able to stay longer, he was very rude and emotional. We were looking forward to a nice comfortable stay, but had to leave as soon as possible. The place doesn't look like the pictures at all and I think it's deceptive. I wish I would have known before we booked.
