Szarka Vendégház és Pince

The property is lovely and located in a quiet area, over looking the village. The apartment is spacious and the beds were comfortable. We arrived super late so we didn't have a ton of time to spend there and appreciate the area, but the terrace is a lovely place for a morning coffee.

The property only takes cash which was not specified in the listing and there is no atm anywhere in the area so plan accordingly. The host was not particularly nice but that might be the fault of the language barrier. The shower was leaking but that should be an easy fix.

Lovely house, polite and attentive host

We stayed for two nights and couldn’t wish for more! Lovely owner, beautiful, immaculately clean rooms overlooking the garden and surrounding hills. Lots of attention to details. Food & wine were most delicious.

Everything was fantastic about our stay. You could see the passion and commitment of the owner for his winery and his care for the guests to have the best time possible. The place is perfect for a group, comfortable, cozy and warm (we visited in January). Beds were comfortable, bathroom is clean and very good hot water pressure. Kitchen is well equipped, you may also opt for having breakfast/lunch or dinner arrangements in the small bistro of the owner like we did, and it turned out great. Despite the low season and gray weather we had great time.

The location is beautiful. It is on a quiet hill above the city. It is very comfortable and clean, with beautiful outdoor seating areas. The wine is yummy. And we wish we had been there on the weekend so we could try the restaurant. The host took us on a tour of his vineyards and we had a tasting, which was lovely.
