Katie's Flat

Lovely quiet location. Catriona the host is lovely and friendly. The little touches that were left out for our arrival was a lovely touch. The property was extremely clean and very modern and good quality furnishing. Hot tub was a nice wee extra as was the jaccuzi bath. Our dog also enjoyed his stay. We had a lovely indian meal delivered from a local restaurant. Highly recommend Katies Flat.

Out the way but not miles away

The flat was extremely warm and comfortable. The weather during our stay was grim and the cosiness of the flat made a huge difference. We could have stayed indoors and spent quality time there had we chosen to do so. Catriona, our hostess. was extremely welcoming and had thoughfully provided some treats, including fresh flowers. As dog owners it was nice to be in a place where dogs were not just tolerated but welcomed - Catriona is a dog lover! All the fittings and furnishings were of high quality and attractive.

A hand towel in the kitchen would have been useful. A rack/ larger mat at the door for wet shoes, dog towel etc would have been helpful. There's not a lot of space for one but it would have saved dripping on the carpet on entry. Also the pegs for wet waterproofs by the kitchen door meant we dripped all the way through there. Also a light in the bathroom (the mirror light?) not linked to the fan would have helped for night visits.

Hot Tub has only improved the property, This was our second stay here, which tell you everything.

The location was beautiful, host was lovely and the flat was spotless! Missing it already!
