Spacious comfortable apartment in a very convenient location

The location was excellent. The flat exceeded our expectations : well appointed, in immaculate condition with exquisite furnishings. Mary was a superb host, who provided a first class service.

The location and accomodation was first class.

Very comfortable, nicely updated and beautifully decorated. Good location in central Oban.

Offstreet parking was a bonus. The flat was very well presented and comfortable

It was a bit stale smelling and could have done with some fresh air before we arrived. The communal stairwell wasn’t very inviting but the flat itself was lovely. No guest book to leave our comments and no info about recycling rubbish. The info booklet might have been better written, there were a lot of ‘do nots’ - this could be presented in a better way

Location right in Oban town centre, easy walk to seaside and restaurants. Excellent toiletries provided.

Unfortunately, I got stuck in one of the bedrooms in the middle of the night as the doorknob was stuck. Opened it with a clothes hanger. My wife also got stuck in the kitchen the next day when the doorknob came out. Apparently, the host knows about the problems but have yet to adequately address it. I was told also by the host to throw out the rubbish when checking out. I found this very odd as I was already charged a 100GBP cleaning fee. When I asked the host on it, she said cleaning fee was for cleaning the apartment. Isn't throwing the rubbish cleaning the apartment? And the tagline for this property is 'luxury meets elegance'... rather disappointed.

Perfection all round - high quality furnishings; high standard of cleanliness; most welcoming and caring host; excellent location; very comfortable beds; short of nothing to enjoy the stay.
