Little bay cabin

A lovely cabin looking right over Oban Bay, a little gem surrounded by woodland and only a 10 minute walk to almost everything in Oban centre about 12 minute walk to train station and ferry terminal. Facilities very clean with added bonus of car parking outside the cabin. Morag was an excellent host and very informative of what is going on around Oban would definitely stay again.

It was only a few minutes walk from where I needed to be that evening in Oban. I'm not that mobile, but I was able to get down the steps and across to the restaurant in about 15 minutes. Walking back it was well lit too.

The room scent was a little over-powering for me, but not a deal breaker. The bathroom is arms length from the bed, which is fine for one person, but if travelling with a friend, might not be so good. Again, it's not a problem for me as I was travelling alone.

Highly recommend. Location had amazing view. Only 3 min walk to closes Pub/restaurant (Markie Dans). Downtown was only 5-8 min walk along the water. Everything was clean and modern and Big enough space for my wife and I. Morag was very welcoming and we even fell in love with her cat Lilly, who greeted us everyday. Will definitely stay here again next time in Oban.

Perfectly positioned for access to town. Everything was spotless and Morag had thought of every little extra to make our stay welcoming and comfortable even down to a couple of nips of Oban whiskey to warmly welcome us! The view out to sea from the front porch was magical and we enjoyed the serenity. Thanks for a great stay. Highly recommend and hope to be back one day.

Clean, comfortable and great location

Couldn’t fault anything

Comfortable and well equipped little cabin located very close to all the amenities of Oban, yet set within a wooded area. The generous patio was also really nice for enjoying the spectacular view. The host, Morag, is wonderful, so welcoming, generous and absolutely charming. We also love the ginger cat, Lily, who is part of the welcoming committee.

There is nothing to dislike! A washer dryer might be helpful because I can imagine how helpful it would be for guests wanting to stay a little longer in charming Oban.

The little bay cabin was my favorite place I stayed on my 3 week vacation traveling thru the UK. The hostess was so friendly and helpful on things to do and see. The town of Oben was only a 3 min walk with lots of shops and restaurants. The cabin which is like a modern studio apartment with all amenities was overlooking the bay. Perfect and beautiful place to stay for a few days.
