Beautiful 2BR Apartment with McCaigs Tower views

The location was fantastic, easy to walk to the tourist area as well as a grocery store.

The stairs were tight and since I'm tall I hit my head a few times. But that's my problem.

Very clean, Great location, modern and bright, spacious and well equipped

Beds a little uncomfortable and the 52 steps up to the apartment are challenging with luggage. Also perhaps a few more hangers in the bedrooms would be good

The location was perfect for us, and the apartment was the perfect size for our family of four (2A, 10yo + 6yo).

Upon arriving at the apartment, the living room felt stuffy and had fried food smells. (We ended up buying a scented candle to diffuse the smells). We found a couple of baking trays and a frying pans in the oven which were quite greasy.

The apartment is good

When we enter the building, we need to take stairs upto 3rd floor, taking stairs it’s scary on the ground floor at night didn’t expect that environment at night. When we enter the house and going up is not clean and it’s a lot of mess while going up and no lights nothing and the stairs is not straight, so hard to go up !!!

Really disappointed that we spent over £260 to stay here. Should have booked the Premiere Inn, which is where we usually stay when we visit Oban. Upon entry the place smelled like damp, probably from the wet bed linen hanging in the hallway cupboard. As you can see from the pictures, the place needs a deep clean, unsure what has been newly renovated? It isn't baby friendly at all. There's soo many cleaning products in an unlocked cupboard under the sink and ones left beside the toilet. The toy box had lots of chocolate wrappers in it and hair brushes with other people's hair in it as well as tiny little marbles which I'm glad my baby didn't get her hands on. There are over 50 (winding) stairs to get to the apartment so not pram friendly. That's my fault though as I should have read the negative reviews before booking. The main door is broken so doesn't shut and there's a long, dark hallway upon entry to the main building. Unsure why there is no light there? If I was travelling by myself then I would have left and not stayed here but I did not want to disappoint my kids who were excited for their holiday. Lesson learned though, stick to what you know.

The location was excellent, handy for just about everything.

Compact and comfortable

Up A LOT OF STAIRS. Very dark on bottom entrance stairs. Lots of left over foodstuffs and cleaning supplies filling some of the cupboards. I feel these should be cleared away . Some cleaning products would be enough . I stripped my bed and the bed topper was covered in bits , perhaps a shake off between customers would help .

Location was great. Views from front and back also super. Warmed up quickly. Everything you need for a short break.
