This place is amazing we were so lucky to find such an amazing apartment in the centre of Pisa. Only minutes walk to the tower that you can see from the terrace.

It was very cold outside but the apartment was warm and cozy including heated floor which was a real treat.

Very spacious. Two separate bedrooms. High ceilings. It felt like living in a castle 😎

Casa stupenda e pulita.

Abbiamo avuto qualche problema con il condizionatore (aria calda). L’abbiamo acceso ma non ha soddisfatto al meglio l’esigenza. C’è da dire che erano comunque giornate molto fredde.

Casa molto caratteristica, e ottima vicinanza che j ogni cosa si voglia fare , l’unica pecca è il parcheggi perché la casa si trova in zona ztl

This penthouse is a remarkable find, offering not just a place to sleep but a genuine home base in the heart of Pisa. The location on Borgo Stretto is fantastic, placing all markets, dining, and shopping within easy walking distance. The overall atmosphere was very relaxed and secure, with the gentle, ambient sounds of the city providing a pleasant background in the evenings. The undisputed highlight is the magnificent roof terrace. Most of our evenings were spent watching breathtaking sunsets over the city while enjoying meals and wine. The elevated position perfectly separates you from the hustle and bustle below, yet the atmosphere makes you feel intimately connected to the life of Pisa. It is the perfect spot for creating lasting memories. The apartment itself functions as a true home from home. All key amenities were in good working order, and the kitchen was exceptionally well-equipped with a large fridge freezer, making self-catering easy. For travellers, the washing machine is a godsend. The WiFi was fast enough for streaming, and overall cleanliness was good. We even had a gecko join us for part of our stay, who took up residence in our bathroom. Access was simple and straightforward, relying on an efficient self-service key retrieval system via a lock box. Detailed instructions and photos from the host made finding the apartment effortless. Crucially, there is direct lift access to the upper floors, which is a significant relief for handling luggage. Finally, I was genuinely impressed by the level of civic order in Pisa. The public services—including regular rubbish collections, street cleaning, and maintenance—were excellent. This administrative competence contributed to the relaxed atmosphere and made the city a pleasure to explore. This penthouse comes highly recommended.

Mosquito Warning (Zanzare): We were totally unprepared for the plagues of mosquitos during the night. We were all torn apart by them. While some repellents were in the apartment, they were not sufficient. The main bedroom has a four-poster bed, suggesting a proper mosquito net might have been in place at some point in time, but was not when we stayed. Guests from regions like England, where this isn't a typical issue, must pack, or buy, strong repellent and possibly consider a travel net to ensure comfortable sleep. Maintenance (Vacuum Cleaner): For an extended stay, the lack of a vacuum cleaner was a drawback. While the apartment was clean upon arrival, having a vacuum is necessary for guests to maintain tidiness over a week or more. We would suggest the host provide access to one.
