Lismore House,Flat with Private Parking and Lift

Great location Host lovely and very responsive Flat is spotlessly clean and kitchen well equipped. Parking is also a great bonus and easy to navigate Kitchen beautifully laid out and plenty of cleaning products.

Floorboards are unbelievably noisy and creak no matter how lightly you step on them - really annoying in the middle of the night. Hot water is dangerously hot coming out of taps - perhaps a warning about it would help others. Double bed is very uncomfortable. There is no need for the multiple Bibles left throughout the flat, one discreetly in a drawer would have been sufficient. Fake flower arrangements throughout flat aren't to everyone's taste and detract from the actual flat.

The whole apartment was well presented, clean and warm and the location was perfect.

Location was excellent! It was very quiet even though right in town.

Floors are quite creaky, but we got used to them.

Home from home Location

Fantastic location on the South pier in Oban. Steps away from the ferry and train station. We could watch the ferries come and go from the window. Very clean. Well equipped kitchen. Great shower. Nice touches such as fluffy towels, Nespresso coffee machine, all kitchen basics supplied salt, tea coffee etc. decanters of whiskey and Port.

Our only complaint was the creaky floors. Nighttime bathroom visits were very noisy.

Vwry cosy and comfortable flat would highly recommend.we arrived eary and the hosts went out of their way to have the flat trady for us Perfect location

My only gripe was as I have mobility issues therewas no shower seat orstool in the veryeryspacious shower, bu I should have raised the question withe hosts at time of booking

Beds were spotlessly clean Shower was good power Sofa was very comfortable

The washing machine broke down straight away and there was no part in Oban We finally got an offer to do our washing on Thursday which was returned at night so we could air dry which we prefer The microwave 🤷‍♀️ we couldn’t fathom it out The leaflets were there but we couldn’t see one for that make The lift broke down on second day it was not repaired while we were there The flat is at the back of the building not the front as on picture The reason we booked that very expensive flat was for lift access and being able to wash our own clothes as we didn’t pack a lot as we were also being dropped off and picked up I need help as I am registered disabled and it was an awful stress my daughter having to trail up and down two flights with myself my two year old granddaughter and a buggy and daily shop. I will definitely be asking for a partial refund from Lainey and Booking .Com
