Lismore House,Flat with Private Parking and Lift

The location was perfect right in the centre of town, even with being in the centre the apartment was quiet and the building itself was clean and tidy. The apartment looked lovely when we arrived we found it very homely and clean. We stayed a week and was very comfortable.

Well equipped and homely

The location was good. Parking was excellent. Flat roomy and quiet apart from very creaky floorboards

Lift not working from pm on the 5th. Lift access one of the main reasons for choosing flat. No communication updates from owner, other flat tenants explained situation. Oven top shelf not clean, residue of cooking fat. One pot loose handle, unusable, and required washing. Tap water scalding hot, possibly dangerous, thermostat wants looking at.. Water goes from warm to scalding very quickly. Shower no soap holder. No toothbrush holder. Plastic or safe cup required in bathroom. Handles on external dining room doors/windows could not be turned in hot weather, or were very tight. Doors could not be opened. This is a possible safety issue in the event of an emergency, e.g. a fire when other way out was barred.

location was perfect, having parking was brilliant and one of the reasons for booking, cleanliness was great, facilities and space was great for the 4 of us, all in all really happy with the choice, having a lift also was fantastic

what would have made it better was having some draw space in the bedrooms would have been really useful the floorboards were really creaky so I felt uncomfortable moving about worrying if I was upsetting downstairs

The location was excellent right in the centre of Oban. Parking was also great. The apartment was very clean and had everything you would need e.g towels, tea, coffee and milk in the kitchen.

My son was disappointed that there was no WiFi as he needed to keep in contact with his family and work in New Zealand.

Location was good and parking a bonus. Generally clean.

No place for clothes in main bedroom. Creaky floors, Condiments left in fridge. Toiletries left in bathroom cabinet. No fire extinguisher or fire blanket. No Information whatsoever; e.g what to do in the event of a fire; location of hospital, emergency doctor's number. No recycling facilities.
