Lynwood Studio

Everything about the studio was perfect! It was easy to find and having off street car parking a bonus. The location peaceful and walking distance to town. The many extras including breakfast food, plenty of coffee pods and wonderful bathroom products appreciated. The bed was so comfortable and the pillows wonderful. Our hosts gave us a great list of restaurants which were spot on. Driving to the many points of interest outside of town was easy. Only disappointment was we didn’t stay longer!

Ideal location, out of main hustle bustle noisy part of town and perched up on a hill with just the sound of bird song even on the rainy days. No light or sound pollution which was brilliant. Easy to find, beautifully decorated and clean, spacious apartment with French doors opening onto a decked patio area with views over the garden. Welcome addition of milk and oat milk, cereal, butter and bread, coffee pods and Tunnoch Tea Cakes. Everything was perfect, nothing left out and fresh carnation flowers in a vase on the table was lovely. I asked advice about Mull and Iona travel which was answered promptly. Met the owners on final day, lovely friendly couple.

Lovely studio apartment, well decorated, clean, comfortable with a excellent shower room.

For our three night stay over, there was only one hand towel, so we could have done with more. The kitchen area was well equipped apart from only having one side plate for two people.

Beautifully presented and clean. We had everything we need for a great stay. The studio was warm, cozy and well equipped. The hosts were welcoming, paid attention to the little details, and sent a very helpful list of restaurants and things to do too!

The location was great for us. Nice and quiet and free parking. The little starter pack of milk and tea/coffee was perfect.

The bed was a bit firm for us - but we understand that's personal preference. Although advertised as soundproofed we could hear noise from above us (owners home)

We loved absolutely everything about the accommodation, couldn’t fault it. It was so fresh and clean, and we loved all the little extra touches. So much thought has gone into the planning of the studio. It’s so stylishly done. We will definitely be going back.

Decor and quality of bed

We liked the peaceful location , but it was still close enough to the town centre. The apartment had tasteful decor and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. Immaculate. It was so nice to have the kitchenette, compared to being in a hotel, with people coming and going all the time etc. Was a real treat. Home from home. Free parking spot too, rare in Oban!

Style, decor and comfort

Perfect place to stay for a long weekend in Oban. Spotlessly clean, well equipped and very comfortable. WiFi worked well for some work calls.
