I honestly don’t understand how this place has such a high rating. The main issue is the misleading use of the word “private”. If you don’t understand what “private” means, don’t use it to describe the room or the facilities. The room, bathroom, and kitchen were okay in terms of condition, BUT neither the bathroom nor the kitchen was private as described. This is a huge problem. What made our stay truly unpleasant was the constant mess in the shared bathroom — it was filthy most of the time, worse than a public toilet. It was disgusting, and this happened not once, but at least three times during our stay( one night ). We couldn’t even tell how many people were using it, but clearly it was not being cleaned regularly. To make things worse, someone else was using our shower — again, not what we expected from a “private” listing. And although this was frustrating, it wasn't even the worst part. At night someone started banging on front door at 2 or 3 AM, which kept us awake. After all the chaos with the bathroom, this was just too much. Maybe it’s not entirely the host’s fault, but the environment felt like a badly managed hostel, not a private rental. This place is not terrible in itself, but it should be clearly advertised as a hostel with shared bathroom and kitchen, not as a private stay. That would set correct expectations. For us, it was a big disappointment.
