Golden Gate apartment

Excellent location

Stunning apartment with everything you could hope for. Central location, clean, with so many extra touches. The apartment was very well presented, with stylish touches and the location was excellent. Close to restaurants, bars, shops and the unforgettable sites.

Those with mobility issues would struggle with the stairs, that wasn't an issue for us just the only thing I think potential bookers should be aware of.

Everything was very clean and new, comfortable and spacious apartmnet with nice equipmnet. Charming balcony with beautiful city view. Great location and superb host mr. Krešo.

The building used to have an elevator, which now seems out of order that is such a pitty, and our grade would be 11 out of 10

It was a lovely apartment, brilliantly located, yet when you shut the doors and windows it blocked the noise out so you could choose to listen to the music in the street (weekend little events near the gate) from the balcony or shut it all out and relax. Balcony was awesome. Kitchen well set up. TV in bedroom as well as living room. Good bathroom.

Nearly perfect - had a washing machine but you have to get your own washing powder/liquid. Bit of a mission to get up to the floor of the flat with no lift but once you're up there it's great.

Very clean and nice apartment with all the facilities needed including a fully stocked kitchen regarding utensils, pots and pans. Everything functioned as expected, and seemed very new

Main drawback was noise from the street but probably impossible not to have this with such a central location

Location is excellent, very close to old town, but with buses and taxis right out the door. With the windows all closed the soundproofing from street noise was excellent. Spacious apartment. Heaps of nice crockery and glassware. Big balcony, and while it's noisy to sit out there due to buses on street below, it's a great spot to check the weather, and for drying laundry, with washing machine in the bathroom and clothes rack and pegs on balcony.

At first sight, the front door from street and the beginnings of the stairwell are run-down, and we had a bit of an 'uh-oh' feeling. But the apartment is really nice, freshly renovated, everything new and crisp and comfortable. After that, we were up and down those stairs without thinking about it, and the close location of bakeries and little supermarkets etc was great. It's a workout to get your luggage up, but that only happens once, so not too bad.

For the price everything was perfect
