Die Wohnung ist wunderschön und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Ich habe mich dort vom ersten Moment an super wohl gefühlt. Die Lage ist ebenfalls top – man läuft gerade einmal 10 Minuten bis in die Stadt. Obwohl das Haus an einer Strasse liegt, ist es nachts total ruhig und ich habe super geschlafen. Ein grosses Dankeschön auch an die Gastgeberin, die jederzeit hilfsbereit war. Ich komme gerne wieder!

Ein kleiner Hinweis für Allergiker: In der Wohnung gab es Duftstoffe. Da ich darauf allergisch reagiere, habe ich sie einfach weggeräumt, danach war alles absolut in Ordnung.

2 minutes outside city walls with car parking. Excellent apartment close to supermarkets and the very good Red Goat coffee cum bar.

On the occasions I had to navigate through the city traffic was terrible.and aggressive..

An exceptional property - a beautifully elegant, peaceful and oh-so-comfortable and spacious apartment. Just like a home from home, or like visiting family. The host couldn’t have been kinder or more ready to reply to queries or advise us of small details. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and a box of chocolates, (a first for me after many years using booking.com!). Lots of local information left to help us enjoy our week in and around York. We always felt like we were coming home, rather than returning to a rental! The location was just perfect for anyone who, like us, enjoys being a very short walk out of town to avoid nighttime noise, and who needs a free parking space during their stay, and - importantly - wants a very comfortable base. I would return in a heartbeat: it was just fantastic!

excellent location with designated carpark walking distance to city centre and supermarket ample supplies in both washroom and kitchen the whole apartment seems spotless

the curtain in the bedroom might need to be replaced with a blackout one, especially in summer time
