Squirrel Lodge was perfect for us! Had absolutely everything you could need and was just the weekend break we needed!

You are quite a drive from any large shops, talking 10 minutes. But this was our fault for not checking, nothing to do with the lodge.

Bed extremely comfortable, hot tub fantastic. Kitchen and lounge great.

Outside area could have been a little cleaner. Lack of shelves in bathroom and shower. TV reception hit and miss including streaming.

"Lovely place, a little misleading"

Hot tub amazing, very comfy bed, warm, lovely location, very peaceful and quiet. Be aware that the pub on site is closed for the winter.

Had no WiFi at all. Advertised as included but the router was not plugged in to anything (apart from the wall), no phone line so impossible to have it. Looks like the router is there to make it look like WiFi is available. Also a groundsman confirmed there is no WiFi. TV antenna was very hit and miss and only managed to get a signal for terrestrial tv some of the time. We took our own speaker for music so wasn't too much of a problem. Only 1 toilet roll provided and 2 tea bags.
