The Presidential Suite, with Free Parking!

Our second visit, exceptional apartment, great location, less than 10 minutes walk to the Minster, free, secure parking. Problem with the hot water sorted quickly and efficiently. Plenty of pubs & restaurants nearby, would certainly return & recommend to others.

One tea towel for a week seems inadequate No hand towel for the kitchen Strange there's no microwave Folder for the apartment did not include any instructions for the various appliances. A simple crib sheet for the heating & hob/oven would be especially useful. No information about the outside bins or what can be recycled. On our previous visit I raised that there is no none slip bathmats for the shower or bath. Definitely a health & safety issue, we went & bought one for our peace of mind. Finally if you are using the car parking space I would recommend you check the car daily. The space if covered by a tree in next doors garden. Birds roost there and the front of my car & windscreen was covered by their droppings, it was a horrible job to clean. If you have a car cover use it. It would be better to reverse into the space.

Apartment was beautiful and spacious (Christmas tree was a lovely touch too). Great location, a short walk into the centre. We only used the bedroom at the rear but didn’t notice any street noise throughout the apartment. Would definitely look to stay here again!

Only a few very minor things but it didn’t affect our stay; the spot lights in the kitchen were temperamental, the mood light in the bathroom didn’t work and no accessible sockets at the bedside in the rear bedroom.

Just a couple of very minor points The key code lock is set a bit too high. Not all of us are 6 feet tall There are many modern amenities in the property. Why not have a booklet with QR codes with instructions for oven/ microwave/ washing machine/ lighting and heating controls

The location was perfect for walking into the city, it had a small walled garden which in the summer would be lovely to sit and have coffee. The apartment was very spacious plenty of room for four. The beds were so comfortable it was lovely to be able to relax after sightseeing. Both bedrooms having en-suites was a huge bonus.

If I had anything negative to say it would be blinds would be nice in the front bedroom as it it’s next to the Main Street. This way you could have them open very slightly to have a bit of daylight when getting ready to go out without people seeing in as they walk past. This is not a criticism just an observation.

Apartment was fabulous, fabulously furnished, cosy and spacious. Great location, a short walk into the centre and backs onto the park. Secured, gated parking. Under floor heating was great. Plenty of storage. Fairly quiet at night given its on a main road and close to the centre. The apartment has everything you could need and want for a short stay.

Very happy with our stay - the only downside was that our car was parked in the designated apartment space and after a couple of nights was absolutely covered in bird muck to the point that the windscreen required cleaning before setting off, had to get a valet once home to remove the mess but can’t be helped as tree is on a neighbouring property.

The apartment is ideally located to see the sights in York, just a short walk from most popular tourist attractions. Very close to main centre with restaurants, shops and pubs. Lovely layout and big spacious rooms. Good communication with directions etc.. from the property.

To note, we stopped in apartment 1 which has an allocated car parking space. On both days we stopped, due to the ridiculously high amount of bird droppings from the trees overhead, we had to pay to have the car cleaned to avoid damage to the paintwork. As the apartment is ground floor you can hear people in the room above and running water when they’re using the shower, toilet etc..
