Kozas Art House, Symi

If the accommodation was not ready for someone to go in that should have not been on booking. My booking was last minute as we decided last minute to go to Symi but you never leave a platform open if you’re not ready for someone to go in. We could not have changed our mind and left to go somewhere else to stay as nowhere was possible.

Το διαμέρισμα είναι πολύ άνετο και σε πολύ κεντρικό σημείο, δίπλα σε μαγαζιά, εστιατόρια, καφέ και στα μέσα μεταφοράς. Ιδιαίτερα όμως θέλω να αναφερθώ στον ιδιοκτήτη του, που με τις προσπάθειές του έδωσε λύση σε ένα σοβαρό πρόβλημα που αντιμετωπίσαμε πριν το ταξίδι μας. Κύριε Δημήτρη, σας ευχαριστούμε πολύ!

Great location, quiet but close to harbour, shops, restaurants etc

Everything was pretty good to be honest. Lamp in living room rather than having to use overhead light, but very minor!

It is recently refurbished and everything is done very well. There are art pieces in the house that add a lot of character. It’s comfortable and easy to keep clean. I didn’t cook there but there is a good supply of utensils if you want to eat in. Also a very efficient washing machine that has a 30 minute wash that means you can refresh clothes, towels etc. without wasting too much energy/water.

Nothing- except I’m not good with stairs and didn’t realise when booking that it’s not on the ground floor. It’s not a difficult set of stairs in Symi terms and I got used to them easily so it didn’t spoil the holiday in any way.

Very comfortable house , very clean , in a very good spot. The host was very helpful when we had an electricity problem and it got solved in less than 30 mins . Location is excellent .

Everything was perfect

Close to all amenities, well furnished, good kitchen, plenty of bedding and towels.

Stairs a little steep.

In a great position, on the flat, with easy access to the harbour, restaurants & taxi boats. A nice bottle of wine and some water and some basic foodstuffs were very welcome. All freshly decorated good sized rooms with comfortable furniture, and a well equipped kitchen with a washing machine which is a great bonus. A small balcony with table & chairs for 2 provides some outdoor space. A small tradition basic bathroom is sufficient. The owners responded quickly & resolved a minor problem without delay. The WiFi & air conditioning work very well.

There was nothing I didn’t like about the property, however it is the first place that I have stayed in Symi that has no service included - you need to dispose of your own waste by walking to the nearest rubbish collection point and you need to launder your sheets & towels if you want to change them.This was not a problem for me but I think that the owners should mention that this is the case in the information before you arrrive.
