Ritzi Apartment

We really enjoyed our stay at Ritzi apartment, amazing location, with easy access to everything! Very clean and cozy! We are definitely coming back!

Clean and comfortable, recently fitted out with all modern conveniences.Good location in the heart of the lower town and close to bars, shops and restaurants but with a ‘local square’ vibe. Symi Holidays who manage the property were helpful and responsive we were very impressed by their service and luggage holding.

We had no problem with the steps up to the front door, but as many reviews note I wouldn’t recommend these for small children or those with mobility issues.

This apartment was clean and very comfortable. The location is great!

This was not an issue for us, but the stairs leading to the apartment are narrow and steep, so probably not advisable for people with disabilities

Service : Agent contacted me prior to arrival with information about location (including photos) and key code for lockbox. I was worried about arriving at night and was reassured by his answers to my questions about safety / distance of the walk from the ferry port. I requested for late checkout at 16:30 due to ferry delay and there was no hassle. Location : Symi has hills raising up steeply from the harbour. This apartment is located at sea level in the harbour area with easy access to restaurants, supermarket, bus station, port on flat well-lit streets. Without a rental car, I appreciate not having to climb up from the port (with luggage) or wait for the bus. The harbour is a great starting point for many hiking trails to the north-east and north-west, especially when pared with bus transport. Facilities : Generously sized apartment. little balcony that overlooks a quiet village square and church. well equiped kitchen and thoughtful to provide a bottled water for the guest. quiet (in nov). washing machine with detergent provided is a bonus. easy drying on the window drying rack. comfortable bed. dining table that seats four which can be used as a working desk for my laptop. lots of power outlets for charging devices. wifi worked perfectly. Electricity : As with most greek islands, power outtage (of the whole harbour area) might occur. I was used to it and went to bed for not more than 30mins before power was restored. If worried, plan to have your phone always close at hand to switch on the torch function.

Nothing major, just suggestions for little improvements: The agent knew i was arriving at night and the street was dark. It would have be considerate to leave the entrance light on. I had to use my phone torch to climb the steps, see the lockbox and open the door. Easier to have an instruction card in the apartment for switching on the water heater and password for wifi. I had to contact the agent, send him photos of the electrical panel. Then wait 30mins before he provided instructions for both. I would describe the lighting as cosy. Since I like brightly lit spaces, would preferre brighter light bulbs.

Great apartment in a good location. Everything what you need is there including a washing machine.
