The Residence @ Ryedale House

Stunningly decorated and very comfortable apartment, perfectly located close to York attractions with a view overlooking the cathedral. York Stays were very accommodating for a later check out for our disabled guests and quick to respond to any queries. Care package of local products was well received. Parking available for 2 cars.

The balcony furniture wasn't protected from bird mess. The balcony and view was a big draw for us in the booking and bar the cathedral view, fell a bit short for the price. Ineffective Air filtration rather than extraction in the bathrooms, with no windows, left them very humid for some time. Both of the above, York Stays were aware of and working on improvements.

The apartment was out of the world. It was in a wonderful location and had some fantastic views

Beautifully decorated and furnished, very good location. Spacious and quiet with lovely views. The welcome hamlet was a lovely touch.

The mattress in the master bedroom was worn with springs evident when lying/ sitting on the bed, which would “clunk” when sat on. It felt very worn and should be replaced. The addition of a nespresso machine and a 4 slice toaster would be great! Also minimal toilet rolls supplied and we had to buy more.

Amazing apartment, perfect for a family gathering. In a great location to be able to walk into York city centre. On-site parking for two cars was great as parking in York is very limited.

The apartment was quite warm, could have done with an extra fan for the bedroom. Beds could have been more comfortable (considering the high spec of the rest of the apartment). Would stay again though as everything else was perfect.

lack of toilet roll & master bedroom mattress needs replacing.

Location was excellent, as we're the facilities in the apartment. A tandem double parking space was a bonus.

Bathroom cleanliness on arrival could have been better...was not 100% clean.
