Varkiza by the sea

The personal touch, getting to know the person looking after the home. She was very helpful and gave us many tips. Was there when we needed anything. The veranda was large enough to invite guests for dinner, and in the evening there was a heavenly aroma from the flowers.

We highly recommend this home.

Lovely apartment with beautiful views.

The apartment is very cozy and spacious with an amazing view of the sea. It has all the amenities one might need. The location is great, within walking distance to beaches and beach bars, supermarkets, pharmacies and restaurants. The bus station is right next to the apartment as well, thus making exploring the city very convenient. Eftichia was a great host, very friendly and nice, ensuring we had everything we needed to have a lovely stay. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting Athens (especially during the summer)!

We really enjoyed staying at this property and especially its amazing view; the only small downside would be that as the apartment is located on the main street, it might get a bit loud when cars and motorcycles drive by.

Very thoughtful run through of the property its facilities and services. Offered two sets of keys to overcome any eventuality being away from the apartment. Clean bedding and towels, with good kitchen facilities. Eating out has good options, but we self catered for cost and with a great local supermarket we were able to bring ready made meals in and save some cost. TV is wifi ready with netflix and prime available. Good wifi signal in the property with easy login details. Quiet apartment block and very secure. There is nothing bad about this apartment at all, and we'd go back there tomorrow if we could!! We have recommended this to all our friends already and look forward to going back.

The road noise can be a little off putting as its quite busy until late at night. Not the issue of the apartment, but if you are a light sleeper it may put you off. We got used to it quickly but it should be considered.

Eftichia our host was very helpful, quick with communication and local information. The apartment was comfortable and clean and well equipped. We liked the position within the resort and also the view was what made us book this apartment, it was beautiful.

Unfortunately the road which runs in front of the apartment was so noisy I'm sad to say that it spoiled our stay. The locals use it like a race track for both cars and motorcycles and the noise went on into the early hours of the morning and woke us up on several occasions. It's literally a dual carriage way! We were aware of the noise from other reviews but didn't think it would be that bad. We were also aware of the building work but thought it may have been completed by now but coupled with the road noise it was pretty unbearable. I don't like to give a bad review but feel that the price should be reduced because of this.
