Apartment is very close to the beach and the view from very private terrace is magnificent! Prompt communication with very helpful host. We could check in sooner than 15:00 which was super convenient.

Bedrooms are very close to a one-way street and windows have small air vents that let through all the noise so you can hear all the cars and loud mopeds. Also the main terrace is directly above busy street with a lot of traffic.

nice location and clean

The location is amazing. A stone's throw from the beach. Fantastic views of the beach from the lovely balcony. The flat is generous in size with two bedrooms and a good-sized bathroom. It's great that it has a car park and we were able to park our hire car each day. Otherwise parking in the area would be nigh-on impossible because it is such a popular area. It is close to a huge range of restaurants, bars, shops and supermarkets. The paseo is lovely for a walk and you easily reach the old part of Los Cristianos and walk over as far as Las Americas and the "Golden Mile", which has a lovely holiday atmosphere. The pool was also a real treat as it is a good size with sunbeds. The pool area was very clean and was also very quiet - I don't think we ever shared it with more than 2 other families at any time. The flat has a washing machine and an airer so we were able to keep on top of all the washing, which was brilliant. Also, the mattresses were firm and very comfortable!

The downsides to the apartment are that the back of the apartment, where the bedrooms are, is very noisy because of the road and could do with double-glazed windows to reduce the noise at night (and one of the panes at the front potentially should not need to be reinforced by what looks like making tape...) There is no workspace for preparing food, so we used the dining table. This wasn't a problem as we ate on the balcony table, but it would be easy to resolve with a rearrangement of furniture and an extra unit/table. Also, be aware that nothing is provided in this flat in the way of a welcome pack - we would have very much appreciated a bottle of water after our 6-hour ferry delay. Or maybe a teabag or a spoonful of coffee... Also, be aware that it's a relatively old building - maybe one of the first in the area, so yes, the lifts are old and some parts feel a little tired.
