Family apartments Albur Village II

Perfect situation, modern apartment, good facilities.

Disappointing to find no dustpan and brush to sweep daily, no welcome/appliance or amenities book, whereas every other accommodation we’ve stayed in, in Alvor has such a document. Would have expected to find bleach or toilet cleaner provided, but the only cleaning materials were a dishcloth and scourer.

Good location right next door to Pingo Doce and very well equipped for self catering. Very clean.

Very lumpy pillows and beds not great. Asked for new pillows but didn't get them or if we did they were just as lumpy. TV and remote need changing as there is a blue blob in the centre. Starting to look a little shabby and needs a lick of paint.

I have stayed in these apartments 3 years in a row now with a young family. Its in a great location and the facilities are perfect. The best about the apartments is the atmosphere which is perfectly peaceful and quiet.

No lamps in living room or bedroom only ceiling lights not ideal for reading or if sitting in living room at night. Loungers - would be great if property had loungers/umbrellas down at the pool already as had to carry down each day. Pillows - mattresses are very comfortable but pillows could do with replacing as very worn. Possibly some basic information left in apartment just to share info on the complex & apartment eg sunbathing/lounger info, cleaning/bed change details if there longer than a week & details for check out etc just to save having to message.

Modern, clean, contemporary and spacious apartment, with all mod cons. Automatic outside shutters added security while keeping apartment cool and dark at night for sleeping. Beautiful, large balconies with 2 sun loungers and comfortable curved sofa, with table. Great location, within walking distance to bars and restaurants. Peaceful location. Lift on premises, which is a ‘must’ with heavy cases, if apartment located on first, or second floor. Host, Angela was very helpful. Very prompt with any answers to questions, regarding holiday stay.

Could not really avail of the beautiful balcony with sun loungers, as only limited sun there. Would prefer apartment with full sun on balcony. It would be a good idea to provide sun loungers and umbrellas on the pavement, close to the pool area, as sun shone there most of the day. It would be beneficial to those who wanted to sunbathe, that didn’t have sun on their balcony. It would be helpful to have 2 sets of keys for a couple. It would give more flexibility to come and go, without relying on the other to access the gated area, and the apartment.
