Studio Le Plan Clou

There is an amazing garden with different kinds of beautiful flowers, red currant and tomatoes, the owners are very kind, we were told that we can pick the flowers and vegetables from the garden, we didn't pick any flowers, fruits and vegetables from the garden, because they are really so nice and would like to keep them in the garden. We hiked along the clear stream near the house to the mountaintop, and the evening pine waves and sunset were wonderful. It's good choice for us who love nature and peaceful holiday.

The lamps inside the house can be lighter that will be perfect.

A perfect retreat! This fabulous little studio had everything we wanted. A nice little kitchenette, a fine little bathroom and a nice little bedroom. All of these were nicely furnished and had everything needed. The outdoor patio has amazing views of the Valais, the surrounding Alps, and on a clear day Mont Blanc. It was dead quiet with the exception of the distant sheep and cows and occasional neighbor walking down the road with their dog. It’s a short walk to a small village market for food, and equally short to get to the many hiking paths nearby. Public transit will drop you off a short walk (5 min?) to the studio. The host, Florence, was beyond gracious and drove us into Sion on our final morning so we could catch the train. Be aware, it is a 20+ min bus ride out of town and uphill to reach Arbaz. This was not a negative for us, but rather precisely what we wanted. A short bus trip still got us into town one day so we could tour the Basilica and some other town highlights.

There was nothing to dislike about this lovely place.

The room was very clean and cozy. There is a terasse you can use outside of the house with an exceptional view to the mountains. The place is quiet. The hosts are AMAZINGLY kind. Florence contacted us to arrange our arrival. She gave us various tips to visit around. She is a true gem. She made us feel like home. Thank you so much!
