Una casa amplia para una familia, tenia todo incluido y muy limpio, lo que necesitabamos para pasar el fin de semana tranquilos

Die Wohnung ist komfortabel, rustikal, liegt innerhalb der Stadtmauer und ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen erholsamen Aufenthalt braucht. Parken ist völlig problemlos möglich. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter hat bestens funktioniert. Der Check-in über eine App ist gewöhnungsbedürftig, hat aber gut geklappt.

Leider liegt die Wohnung am niedrigsten Teil der Altstadt und die meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten sind am anderen Ende. Der Weg dorthin ist steil und bei den aktuellen Temperaturen ziemlich anstrengend - man braucht 15 bis 20 Minuten.

La ubicación es genial! Siempre concienstes de que Ávila son cuestas empedradas. Muy limpio y con bastante menaje de cocina.

Al ir con un carro de bebés gemelar el Acceso a la casa son todo escaleras por lo que los complicó un poco. El aire acondicionado no enfriaba y no bajaba de 26 grados y tuvimos que dejar las ventanas abiertas e irnos dar una vuelta porque en la casa hacia mucho calor. El suelo suena muchísimo. Y es una casa que al tener bohardilla a la gente alta como a nosotros nos resultó un poco incómoda

The view from the living room window is wonderful, the rooms, beds, bathrooms, etc. were comfortable, and the kitchen was easy to use. The hosts were very responsive.

The best things about this apartment are the location, with its views of the walls and the mountains in the distance, and the record player with the collection of LPs and 45s. If I were staying for a week, I still would not be able to play all the records I wanted to hear. I know one doesn't come to Avila to stay indoors and listen to LPs, but it's fun at the end of the evening.

There were a few problems. Several times during our stay there was major water leakage across the kitchen floor. The owner replied (via message) that this happened because of condensation caused by the heating unit and it wasn't a problem. Still, it was not very nice to have to mop up water once or twice a day. The second thing was the lack of dish towels. There was a dishwasher but it would have been nice to simply wash and dry a few dishes. When I mentioned this to the owner, they suggested I buy my own dishtowel. Every other booking.com apartment I rented in Spain had such a basic thing, so this was quite annoying.
