"Location is great but the facility needs repair"

The location is right in the city center. Garden view of the room was beautiful.

The furnitures and appliances need reparing. Tv was not working properly, the refrigurator door was broken, dust bin was also broken.

"Lovely location, decent apartment; no frills but good value for money."

Wonderful view over a lovely ornamental garden (Jardim de Santa Barbara) and the ruins of the archbishop's court. Very convenient location near the centre (5 mins walk from the cathedral and Avenida Central; 10 mins walk from the bus station). Compact apartment but comfortable and quiet - got a good night's sleep.

The induction hob didn't work properly (cut out before our food was hot) but it wasn't a disaster because we could cook our pasta in the microwave. It's a shame there wasn't a kettle to boil water -- using a microwave for a cup of tea seems like technological overkill. There was a Nespresso-style coffee machine but no capsules supplied - when you're only staying one night, buying capsules from the supermarket isn't worth it, so it would have been a nice gesture to supply a couple for free.
