Wohnung dürfte größer sein.

Vier Stunden nach dem Checkout erhielt ich eine Zahlungsaufforderung über 100 € wegen angeblicher Schäden. Diese Vorwürfe wurden nicht vorher mit mir besprochen. Es wurde behauptet, eine Decke fehle, was ich durch ein Video beim Auschecken widerlegen konnte. Außerdem wurde mir unterstellt, die Matratze nass und schmutzig hinterlassen zu haben, obwohl wir das Schlafzimmer ordentlich und ohne Getränke genutzt haben.

De locatie was perfect. Je kon zo het strand op en een koud drankje kon je direct beneden drinken. Keus genoeg aan restaurantjes. Het appartement was compleet en goed verzorgd. Alles functioneerde, zelfs alle lampen deden het :}. Contact met de Thaise eigenaresse verliep per whatsapp.

Het bed is een beetje smal (135 cm) en we hadden het soms een beetje koud. Later bleek ergens in de kast een dekbed te liggen, maar om dat nou zelf in de hoes te frommelen....

Fantastic location, right on the beachfront! The living room offers a stunning sea view, and being on one of the upper floors makes the apartment quieter. Truly an unbeatable spot. The host was very responsive and helpful. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the utensils you might need, and there were thoughtful extras like an iron, ironing board, clothes rack, a few books, and cleaning supplies. The living room has air conditioning, but we barely used it since the weather in Calpe was pleasantly mild during our stay.

The apartment wasn’t as clean as expected. The couch covers and pillows were quite dirty, and the bed sheets didn’t look great either. I understand that keeping white sheets in a beach house can be challenging, but I wasn’t a fan of the mismatched covers, their texture, and the fact that the sheets were too small with loose elastic. They kept coming off every night, which was frustrating and left us sleeping on parts of the mattress or bunched up sheets underneath us. Overall, the bedding looked worn and old. The shower was clogged, and even after trying to fix it with a solution, water overflowed onto the bathroom floor. Also, the bedroom doesn’t have air conditioning, so during hot summer days, it could get uncomfortable. Not a major issue, but I would have appreciated some basic kitchen staples like coffee, tea, and sugar. Another personal dislike was the abundance of air fresheners throughout the house, in every corner and even inside cabinets. It felt like they were trying to mask a smell, but instead, the strong scents were unpleasant for me.
