Kiváló helyen volt, és a saját parkoló nagyon nagy előny.

Egy pléd volt az “ágynemű”. Nekem az kevés volt. A bejelentkezéskor a letéti összeg kifizetése szörnyű, máshol ez sokkal rugalmasabb és egyszerűbb.

Fantastic location, very close to the sea and promenade, but quiet.

The apartment is quite ‘empty’ and feels very minimalist. Only the bare essentials are provided. Very few pans for cooking, no table mats, no cushions, bare walls, no coat hooks etc. The space and location is great but it’s just a bit empty feeling inside. It is easy to hear noise from other apartments but the location in general is very quiet.

The apartment was very clean on arrival and is on a lovely stretch of coast in Calpe. The side balcony is east facing and so gets full sun in the morning and is shaded in the afternoon and evening. There is a view of the rock of Ifach and the beach. The location is only a few steps from the beach, meaning we could return during the day for water, snacks, and to use the toilet. The far end of the beach nearest the apartment is very family friendly and has access for wheelchair users. A little further to the east there seemed to be a small section of the coast with a lifeguard. There is also a place on the beach to hire kayaks, pedal boats, and standup paddle boards. There are very few loungers and parasols provided on the beach. I'm not sure how much these cost but most people bring their own chairs and parasols. Fortunately the apartment came with a couple of parasols and we had brought our own beach chairs, but there are plenty of shops selling chairs. There is a separate balcony for drying clothes, with an airer. For self catering, the local Lidl supermarket is 10 minutes walk and has a large selection. It is open from 8am until 10pm most days and appeared to be open on Sundays until 10pm as well (although the posted hours are until 15:30). Near Lidl is a salt lake. The walk around the lake takes about half an hour but factor in time to stop at the hides to watch the flamingos and other birds. Bring binoculars or a zoom lens to get a good view. There was a little wait at the office to collect the key, but Karim was very friendly and showed us the local amenities on Google Maps. The apartment is a 15 minute walk from the Plusholidays office downhill (uphill on the way back) and along the beach promenade. Checkout is by 10am on day of departure and you must return the key to the office, which opens at 9:30.

Air conditioning is in the main area only. This can cool the bedroom sufficiently if you leave the door open. Some less stark lighting (e.g. lamps) would be nice. Would prefer payment handled by Booking.com as authorising payment over the phone to the office in Spain was a little difficult.
