Ahras Place

We had a wonderful stay at Ahrace Place, a budget-friendly hotel in Coron that offers a comfortable and welcoming experience. The location is perfect—not right in the center, so it's quiet, but still just a short walk to the main street with restaurants, bars, and shops. It was easy to get around, and tour operators knew the hotel well, making pickups for island hopping very convenient. Check-in was smooth, even though we arrived late due to the ferry. Everything was ready, and the staff were super friendly, offering great local tips and helping us book tours, airport transfers, and even a ferry when our flight got canceled. The rooms are clean, simple, and typical for the Philippines—nothing fancy but comfortable enough. I slept well, but light sleepers might want to bring earplugs since you can hear some street noise, karaoke, and roosters—which is just part of the authentic Philippines experience! The bathroom was basic but functional, with good water pressure but no hot water, which is common in budget accommodations here. A big plus is the rooftop restaurant, where you can order breakfast the night before and enjoy free coffee and water. The WiFi was reliable, which is always a bonus in Coron. Overall, this is a great option for travelers who prefer a local experience over luxury resorts. The staff are incredibly kind, always smiling, and professional, making the stay even better. We even extended our stay after our flight was canceled, which speaks for itself! Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located, and affordable hotel in Coron!

One thing to note is that light sleepers might hear some street noise, karaoke, or roosters in the morning, which is common in the Philippines. If you're sensitive to noise, bringing earplugs would be a good idea.

Stained sheets, no hot water, bathroom wasn't very clean, wifi not great in rooms, had to buy our own toilet paper

We only stayed one night but it was good. Big room. Very central. Good breakfast with a nice view.
