Skyrock Dahab

Struttura fronte mare bella, pulita ed accogliente. Il tocco d’artista lo si nota in ogni piccolo dettaglio. Lo staff è assolutamente meraviglioso. Le colazioni sono ogni giorno diverse e sempre buonissime, pranzo e cena egiziana idem. Ci hanno supportato nell’organizzazione di un’esperienza nel deserto che sono grata di aver fatto, ed anche per i trasferimenti da e per l’aeroporto. La struttura è vicina a ristoranti e locali vari, e percorrendo il lungomare in 15 min si arriva anche al centro di Dahab.

The location is great, not in the very touristic walk, but close enough (10min walking). Waking up every morning right in front of the beach and having breakfast there is amazing. The rooms are clean, well equipped and beds are comfortable enough. The staff is very kind 👌🏽 they even invited us to eat Egyptian food at the beach in front of a bonfire.

The only critique maybe would be that nobody told us the food on the menu of the hotel comes from outside, we thought it was cooked in the hotel's kitchen, so it's not really hot when it is delivered and taste is acceptable but not great though.

Friendly staff that go out of their way to help. They put on a Christmas dinner for all guests at no cost which was nice.

Everything really but the staff, Mango, Walleh and Tariq were especially amazing 🤩. Great location, Assalah area in Dahab is the chillest with the best food options around. Would definitely come again! Irish couple. Stayed for 12 days.

This wasn't really an issue, but the beds were a tiny bit too hard for our taste. Nice and big though!

We LOVED our stay at the Skyrock. We are so delighted we made the choice to stay here after 12 crazy days exploring just about all of Egypt. The vibe in Dahab was exactly what we needed - beachy and slower paced than most of the country but more real and natural than Sharm. The Skyrock was the perfect place to stay - it is family run and everyone seems to know you already when you arrive. The rooms are really clean and lovely and very comfortable. The staff couldn’t do enough for you and when we arrived so exhausted they really made us so at home immediately. The breakfast was SO delicious we were taken by surprise by how much fresh and lovely food was presented to us each morning. The hotel is right on the waterfront and we had some really enjoyable cycles down to the lighthouse area and beyond (the hotel had some bikes to take for free, and snorkels!) however, we came to discover that the best snorkelling was right on our doorstep - right in front of the hotel if you go to where the water changes colour, there is a drop off of reef there with the most mind blowing array of tropical fish and creatures. We were hours just floating around taking it all in. It was one of our favourite moments in Egypt. There is also a lovely relaxing sunbed area on the hotel’s mini beach. An example of the amazing hospitality of the Skyrock was when one of the days I was relaxing here, the lovely Mango approached and said he noticed my husband’s birthday was in the next week from his passport and asked if we would want to do something special for it like a dinner in the desert. After our busy trip I knew my husband would just want to snorkel and do something low key at the hotel, and this was totally understood - instead, the hotel arranged a gorgeous rooftop evening with balloons and flowers and a lovely fresh fruit cake and Egyptian wine. It was the sweetest thing to do and they really went out of their way to make us feel special. Thank you Skyrock!
