Cheam Village Self Contained Flat & studio

Location was perfect, right near the station and local shops and restaurants. It was really easy to access upon arrival.

The stairs are quite steep so it was tricky getting a 25kg case up.

Modern apartment in a central location - close to shops, bars, restaurants and the train station. It was clean, bright, well presented and satisfied our needs/requirements. The host arranged arranged for the sofa bed to be made in advance of our arrival. We did like and appreciate having windows on both main sides to help cool the flat down at night. Would happily return and recommend to others

We were happy with the apartment overall. Our only constructive comments would be: - There was really only just enough just enough plates, bowls, mugs and glasses for each person - so meant we really had to wash up between each meal. It would be nice to have a few extras/spares - We did find the pillows for the sofa bed particularly hard. - To have the Flat/Apartment no.s clearly on the wheelie bin outside - to help clarify which we should use.

The bed was really uncomfortable. One night we put the mattress on the floor ,hoping for a better sleep but still.it was not comfortable .the mattress was going to one side finishing with a back pain in the morning.

The only thing good about my stay was the location.

Misleading advertisement, was led to believe there was a double bed and a sofa bed, when I spoke with owner to check he told me there was only 1 bed so arranged for an airbed to be dropped off, air bed wasn’t dropped off when I was told it would be which ment spending 3 nights sleeping on the floor.

Spacious, comfy and clean! Warm and fast heating (December chilly weather) Good size bed, really good water pressure shower Location: nearby shops and restaurants. We used the bus service, stop near flat (less than 5 mins) Quiet area/good sleep quality on top floor. Sofa bed came in handy for snoring husband 😄

Wifi not stable enough, especially if you are working Inconvenient for heavy luggage up the stairs. Not suitable for seniors (stairs are too narrow and wouldn't be able to get their suitcases all the way up) (Perhaps ground floor option available but did not ask as we are not seniors 😉) Small request for all European toilets: please add a 'shatafeh' !

The bed was unbearably uncomfortable. I contacted the host to ask for some extra pillows or a duvet to place on top to make it more comfortable. No response. I had to purchase a duvet and pillows to place on top of the bed! The crockery was basic. No wine or drinking glasses. The latte glasses provided were dirty in the cupboard. There was no milk and only decaf teabags with cheap instant coffee. The toilet opened into the kitchen and I think I could have made a cup of tea on the loo! The walls are very thin and the neighbours were very noisy. Shouting down the phone at 5am, resulting in me having to bang on the wall. I will be taking this further and looking to get a refund through booking.com
