Cupar Burgh Chambers

We absolutely loved having our family Christmas here. It is an absolutely stunning building. It's cosy and comfortable and beautifully restored. We arrived to find a beautiful Christmas tree up in the huge main room with crackers, chocolate, shortbread and wine left for us. The beds are amazingly comfy and I had the best few nights sleep I've ever had. There was everything we needed to do a Christmas dinner for 6 people. We really didn't want to leave as it's absolutely fantastic.

The shower in the twin room was either far too hot or freezing cold. I couldn't regulate the heat..but we used the ensuite in the blue room so it wasn't really a big problem

Character and comfortable large space for a large family

There is not a lot in Cupar (we knew that) but it is well located for East Fife. As long as you don’t need too much in the evenings it’s well located and a good base.

Bed in red room was not level and very uncomfortable on the side nearest the door. Ensuite in red room had a bad smell. Traffic noise. We were aware of these points as this is our second visit so obviously weren't put off!
