Very friendly hosts and nice location

Very warm and helpful. A lot to tell but let me just say they are one of the best hosts and people. Will definitely recommend to everyone visiting Buzet.

Hospitality first days were great. I had a good connection with the owner and they were friendly, even gifted me a soup that the lady made. Generally this review wouldve been a 4 or a 5 had it not been for the last day.

Thin walls. I could hear bonking from the neighbours every couple of nights. No cutlery present at arrival; I had to purchase it myself. That wouldve been it if it hadn't been for the last day. The very last day I had woken up at 9 after cleaning and getting ready the day before. Keep in mind 10-11 was the expected time of leaving in the app. At 9:15 I heard bonking and later banging on the door but i was unclothed at the time and couldn't answer for a bit. By the time I opened the door at about 9:30 I was met with a very upset hostess who demanded me the keys and told me she was "disappointed". Why? She said she had little time to clean but I had half an hour left at the minimum to leave, which was plenty enough since I had already packed. I had everything cleaned, ready to go, but she wouldn't hear any response and walked off. Now I understand that there probably was a lot of stress for cleaning. And I wouldve totally been okay taking this into account and leaving earlier had this been discussed the day prior or something, but nothing of that sort had been discussed at any point in time. After packing everything in my car I ended up leaving the apartment at 9:50 which couldve been earlier had this, again, been a conversation. It was at this point that the husband of the hostess checked the apartment and told me it was okay. So I went downstairs, and immediately after going in the car the hostess stopped me and asked me to go back upstairs because it was not okay. She hadn't checked the room, clearly hadn't talked to her husband at all or simply let me talk back to her. I was actually getting sick of this but reluctantly got out of the car again. And just a few seconds later the husband came back down and told her that it was fine. Ofcourse she had to double check him, and then finally she told me to have a safe travel. I honestly didn't reply to that because I was just completely done.

Wonderfully kind hosts who greeted us warmly and sent us off with fresh eggs and vegetables! Beautiful garden and well appointed apartment only a few minutes drive from a grocery store and Buzet's old town.

It warmed up quickly! The beddings smelled very clean. It is exactly like the pictures.

Our hosts made us wait in the car upon arrival and I am still unclear why. Unfortunately, we don’t speak Croatian and we clearly had a language barrier. However, they were very nice and even offered us flowers the next morning. The oven is a microwave.

Washroom is fine

It's not an one-bedroom apartment with balcony we booked and paid. My husband and I with a small dog stayed in a very tiny studio, no balcony, no dining area inside the studio for 4 nights and then we had to stay 3 more nights somewhere. *not a pet-friendly and no-extra charges for pet must be updated to ensure confusion*
