Be Relaxing @ NO. 1 Galle City

Perfect location to experience the local city, and people. A/c that cooled the first floor for sleeping. The owner was very kind in their assistance, and housekeeper too.

Personally I found the single steps inside a challenge.

Not attached bathroom and air conditioner is not enough for cooling.

The perfect place to stay, I wished I stayed longer! A very spacious apartment on 2 floor with a full kitchen, washing machine and A/C. Very convenient location near shops, restaurants and a short walk to Galle Railway station and further away to Galle Fort. The owner was very responsive with communication and everything was as expected if not more. I will most definitely stay here again on future visits to Galle, highly recommended!

Nothing

Just a 15 minute walk to the fort and close to the bus and train station. Bed was comfortable. WiFi was good. The host was available via WhatsApp if you needed anything. Fairly quiet at night so got a decent sleep. Okay place to stay for a few nights. The housekeeping lady was very nice.

Property is in need of some refurbishment and a deep clean. I was bitten by a lot of mosquitos in the downstairs part but housekeeping came and sprayed which helped. I couldn't get the TV to work but may have been me being useless! Couldn't get the hot water shower to work either so probably a good idea for them to show you when you check in if you want to use these. It's quite dark downstairs and no view out the windows which is why there were a lot of light switches, I counted 37 in total!

Pros - host was understanding when we had to cut our stay short - Hot water in shower - Bed was comfortable - Fairly quiet at night

Cons - Half the photos on booking.com do not reflect the property, the main photos are NOT the property!! Photos attached reflect the apartment. - Needs major renovation, house looks like it’s had maintenance recently, very old and dated not very inviting - No idea where the property was we happened to stumble in based on the maps location, no communication from host on how to check in - There are two apartments, one is under construction and basically empty, so the pics attached show the only property that is currently available - Not very clean, needs a deep clean - Furniture in property dirty and unkept, holes and marks in all furnishings - Overall don’t recommend, not a welcoming or comfortable place to stay

Dużo przestrzeni, bliskość dworca i fortu w Galle. Dobry kontakt z gospodarzem obiektu

Niestety drugie piętro, na którym znajduje się sypialnie bardzo mocno się nagrzewa, ze względu znaczną liczbę szyb, ciężko jest schłodzić, przy niewydolnej klimatyzacji. Każdorazowe skorzystanie z łazienki czy kuchni wymaga wchodzenia i schodzenia po dość wąskich schodach.
