The house is the very spacious, separate bedroom is upstairs with AC and a TV. It's not new,but kept very clean, has an iron and even a washing machine. Bathroom is downstairs and has a hot water shower, kitchen has a microwave and an electric kettle. The location is very central,a short walk from the bus station,if you have heavy bags is ideal! In a quiet street off main road ( please,note that Google doesn't give a correct location!!! ) The owner kindly picked us up from our point of arrival ( even we arrived earlier) and gave all the recommendations for our stay. Also he helped us a few more times, 😃🙏Top of Sri lankan hospitality! Very pleased and thank you for everything 😊🙏, definitely will come back!

Budget accommodation in a good location, walking distance to the train station and Fort area. There were a number of maintenance issues while we were there but the host was very responsive in trying to get them fixed. He also arranged an early check in and took us to the train station when we left, which was very kind.

Apartment could do with some ongoing maintenance to prevent problems before they occur.

We loved the apartmant, it was l the best stay in our tree week trip in Sri Lanka. It has great A/C, fans, washing machine, well equiped kitchen, comfy bed, sofa, TV.... Location is great, few minutes walking distance to bus and train station and Galle fort. Owner is really friendy person and always willing to make you stay perfect.

The fact we discoved this gem at the end of our travel trough Sri Lanka, otherwise we would have stayed here much longer. 🙂

The location of the place was extremely convenient, as it was situated near various amenities such as restaurants, shops, supermarkets, a variety of hospitals, and pharmacies. Additionally, it was within walking distance of the main bus stop, train station, and intercity bus stand. Galle fort was also easily accessible on foot. It was also worth noting that all these places could be reached by tuktuks for less than 50 cents ($). Being in close proximity to the hospitals, tuktuks were readily available just around the corner. We were grateful that Mr. Mohotti picked us up from the station, especially since we were very tired from a delayed train. Furthermore, the place itself was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning and fans worked well. The accommodation provided the necessary amenities for making tea or coffee. As for the cooking facilities, we did not utilise them, so I cannot provide any specific feedback on their functionality. We enjoy taking leisurely walks, particularly during the early morning or late afternoon. This location was perfect for that purpose. We believe that the place offered good value for money.

another bathroom with a wet layout, which is likely something that local residents are accustomed to but personally not my preference. And I didn't like the split configuration of the apartment. The kitchen downstairs was poorly lit and lacked natural light. As a result, we mostly spent our time upstairs where there was better natural lighting. It was inconvenient to have to come downstairs every time we needed to use the bathroom or make a cup of coffee. The photos displayed on booking.com can be somewhat deceptive. It seems that they may represent two apartments.

The cleanliness, the location, the clear communication, and the good internet.

The AC in the bedroom was not working properly, the bed pillow was very low. Sleeping in general was a bit challenging.
