The Barn & The Loft at Ambro Mill - One Bed Apartments - Donington Park East Midlands Airport

Everything was great, the location, the setting, the property is immaculate throughout and it made for a very comfortable stay.

Not that they can do anything about it but the large DHL planes are noisy when they take off from East Midlands airport. They didn’t wake me up though during the night and to the properties credit, there are ear plugs in the bathroom cabinet.

I really enjoyed my stay in the converted barn. It was well equipped, very comfortable and immaculately clean. It's perfectly placed for the race track or the airport and set in lovely green countryside.

Be aware that it is positioned under the flight path of East Midlands airport so there is aircraft noise.

A very comfortable stay in beautiful surroundings. Close to the quaint village of Melbourne where there are takeaways, restaurants and a Sainsbury’s as well as interesting places to visit. We were attending an event at Donington Park and it couldn’t have been more convenient… just 3 mins by car! The hosts are lovely.

You could want for nothing. Warm welcome. Well equipped kitchen. Attention to detail was fabulous. I mentioned I had allergies and my welcome basket reflected that. Location was perfect for work (East Midlands Airport).

The barn was exceptionally clean and contained everything that you could think of for a self catering holiday. Very close to Donington Park which was the reason we stayed.

As the barn is located very close to the airport the noise from aeroplanes taking off was very noticeable, however this could be helped with the use of earplugs which were supplied by the host.

Excellent place to stay. Would thoroughly recommend. Safe, cosy and clean. Thoughtful touches throughout. Home from Home. Slept well. Would stay again.

As it is fairly close to the airport, some aircraft noise, but not too intrusive and not constant.
