Sterna Studio

Location was really good despite the steep hill up to it. Very close to everything you need. Nice and quiet - very peaceful.

Unfortunately for us the shower head was broken and there was no wifi available despite there being a code for it.

Nice property, good location, beautiful view.

It was not clean, we found hairs on the bed, the bathroom was also not clean and many parts of the shower were broken. The staff never cleaned the room, only changed the towels once.

The keys were in the door

It’s a very steep hill and road to climb to the location which was difficult with luggage. The WiFi didn’t work. No EU plugs near the bed only U.K. so couldn’t plug in bed side table lamps or phone charger. Had to ring and complain. Handy man was extremely helpful. WiFi took 24 hours to work.

Pretty much everything, it’s up a hill right in town, next to an old cistern. Very quiet, great for self catering with lots of kitchen equipment. There is a sitting area outside with a drying rack for clothes. Friendly neighborhood cats wander by sometimes. Hot water comes quickly and WiFi is reliable. Air con cools quickly. Bed very comfortable. There is good interior lighting, which similar properties in this price range often do not have. The property was quick to answer messages. For Paxos, which is more expensive than a lot of other islands, this accommodation was great value. The studio is not huge but also not cramped, and had room for 3 people to sleep. Sterna Studio will be my first choice for sure if I ever return to Paxos.

Occasionally if using a stove burner at a high setting along with other power usage like the kettle or hot water, a circuit breaker blew. This happened twice, I just flipped the breaker back on and all was fine. I would have enjoyed meeting the owners in person, but they were quick to answer messages and I did meet the cleaner a couple of times.

Very nicely located and a cute spacious room. Everything was very clean and in general we had a nice time.

There are few things that can be improved so this room can be great: - settling the transfer from the port to the room when carrying luggages in the hot summer is a must. They offer no solution and in case you don’t know the island there are just 4-5 taxi drivers which is hard to find them during busy period. So get ready to walk a decent 15-20 minutes in 32+ degrees - A better quality mattress. It wasn’t bad but also not comfortable

Location was perfect, easy distance to everything. The apartment was great with everything you need I.e cooking utensils, food storage, kettle, hairdryer and lots of plugs. Bed was super comfy. The communication was great, especially helpful when we accidentally locked ourselves out. Will be choosing the studio for our stay when we come back next year.
