+ The apartment was located very close to the main street, Via XX Settembre. There was a bus stop at Piazza Dante, and it took only about 5 minutes to walk to the most important part of the old town with the best places for drinks and food. Brignole Station was about a 15-minute walk away, from where you can easily reach Cinque Terre or Portofino. + The hosts and the people taking care of the apartment were very kind and helpful. They really tried to fix the Wi-Fi, which was important for working from the apartment. + The apartment was quite clean, with all the essentials like a large table, dishwasher, and air conditioning. + The windows had pleated blinds, so it was easy to make the room dark at night, which was important when staying in the city center.

– The building was very old. It had three elevators, but they looked unsafe and ancient. Fortunately, the apartment was on the second floor, so walking up was easy. – It was noisy at night because the apartment was next to one of Genoa’s main roads. Motorbikes were especially disturbing. – The bed was awful — very small, with a mattress that didn’t fit the frame. It was uncomfortable both because of the mattress quality (very old and worn out) and the size, which made it impossible to lie down fully without either my head or my feet hanging over the edge. The bed linen was also worn and unpleasant. We were bitten by something; I wouldn’t be surprised if it was bedbugs, although it could also have been mosquitoes or spiders. Either way, we ended up with many bites. – The toilet seat was poorly installed and kept moving. – The towels had a bad smell. I doubt they were properly washed, as the odor was acidic, almost like sweat, and became disgusting after a few days. – The Wi-Fi was very poor at the beginning, making remote work impossible. The hosts tried to fix it with a Wi-Fi extender (since the router was in a different apartment), but that only made it worse. Eventually, after they restarted the device, it improved, but I still wouldn’t recommend this place for people who need to work remotely.

Yes, the apartament was nice. The AC was nice and it was cold all the time, was Great.

The apartment was clean, roomy with a lovely shower and the bonus of having a washing machine. It was very convenient for Genoa City and within walking distance of shops, restaurants and bars.

There was a little confusion as to where the key safe was, it didn't help that we had just been asked to leave our previous hotel at short notice, had to get a taxi from Voltri to Genoa Centro so were a bit stressed (no fault of our new hosts obviously) I suggested to the host that the apartment number was on the was on the wall in the main hallway by the lift next to 8b as it was a bit confusing. Our host has already asked the landlord to do this but hasn't been so far.

We liked the location of the place, it is very good situated. The apartment look like is newly renovated, the furniture is good quality. The building is also looks like a tower.(nice)

We missed to have a balcony. What we saw to improve is a real bad, what offers the appartment is a extandeble sofa bed. An espresso mashine with capsules would improved our stay.

Very good location just outside the historical town and in a modern block. Easy to walk to most of the attractions in the city. Easy to get a taxi from the stand at Piazza de Ferrari 5min away. Compact but comfortable studio apartment. Most furniture and fittings seemed relatively new.

What was listed on the Booking.com site when we booked did not match what we found. Some things are no longer on the list; others are still there. We complained and some things (cleaning products; ironing board) were provided within 24h. Lame excuses from host. For example: Free toiletries + Shampoo + Body Soap listed but only 20ml of body/shampoo available (for 2 ppl for 10 days) Digital Terrestrial (Italian) not satellite TV channels available. No coffee machine - only stove percolator. Tea/coffee maker = Kettle. Electricity fuse tripped 5 times. We were told how to reset it but not convenient to go out in the corridor when you are having a shower! The main bed is a fold away so no headboard and relatively small. Crockery was old and not clean and a few hairs in the bed sheets (but they seemed to be fresh/clean). The things we didn't like could easily be fixed without big expense and would make the experience excellent.

A very comfortable apartment with everything are new. This area I can find many different types of shops.

The bed is not comfortable. There is traffic noise when you leave the window open.
