Old Port Apartment 4 beds

The tiny little alley this property was on seemed unsafe late at night but we had no problems. Was situated directly between a vibrant shopping district and the old harbour so very handy. Well equipped kitchen area. Comfortable bed.

There were no electrical sockets near any of the beds so charging phones up overnight was an issue. While we were there, the heating broke so although the weather was warm enough, nobody could have a shower. The host did try to help and when the heating was condemned, offered to allow us to use his own facilities, but we were not keen on this idea. The host’s communications were very good to be honest and he did try to help, but although we understand that it was an unfortunate occurrence, the three of us were unable to have hot water or heating for half of our stay. The apartment was up a number of flights of stairs which was a problem for my husband as he had recently undergone a knee operation, but it was fine for me and our 13 year old.

The location was good

It wasn't an apartment, it was a studio. There was an wardrobe between the bed and the sofa, no walls and door to separating them. They were 70 stairs to get in the studio, no elevator, its good to know the number of the stairs before booking. The mattress in the bed was broken, not comfortable.

Swimming pool area, clean and cosy

This is a great apartment in the middle of the historical centre of Genoa. Location is perfect and close to a metro stop and many restaurants and sights. Everything you need is present, including a comfy bed, bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. The system with the key box works great, we arrived late and could easily get in the apartment around midnight. The apartment is spacious for two people and we enjoyed our stay!

The temperature of the shower was sometimes difficult to regulate, but this was no issue for us.

The apartment is well located, 5 minutes from the aquarium, 15 min from train station, good restaurants really close and many shops. The apartment was clean, the bed comfortable, has air conditioning and WiFi. The owner always helpful.

Great location, although the lane at night was a little unsettling but only because we’re not used to it. We discovered laneways everywhere & wandered freely. Communication & assistance from the property manager was fantastic.

The stairs at the end of a big day, were ok for us, but if you were older, or had knee issues be mindful. In saying that, it was as advertised so no surprise.
