Jacob’s Getaway

Está céntrico y es muy espacioso, el sofá cama bastante cómodo para dormir y sentarse a ver la tele. Es todo muy básico, pero yo que viajo con peques, no he echado en falta nada. Abajo hay un restaurante que hace unas bolas típicas de allí, está bien. Dueños majos.

Zona muito central na cidade

Havia uma porta que não fechava bem na varanda de trás mas será uma avaria que será corrigida brevemente certamente.

Location and spacious

Mosquitoes. Maybe Ghent is full of them? Made nights very difficult! Airless even with open doors. Bedding too hot for the weather. Even having removed the duvet. No bread knife

The kitchen is well equipped and there is a small coffee and pastry shop just across the street.

Higher quality bedding would be a big improvement. There were a few small details that would make the stay even better: a bottle of hand soap next to the bathroom sink, nightstands next to the bed, a bench or chair in the bedroom, someplace in the shower (besides the floor) to place shampoo and body soap.

Great location, very big apartment, good choice

Superb location. Historical sites all within easy reach. Apartment is spacious. Some very good restaurants on the door step.

Entry to the flat (first floor landing) is off putting. The apartment suffers from the odour coming from restaurant below (solved this with scented candles) At night there was a lot of noise coming from the street until the early hours.

A great apartment right on the edge of a bustling city. A very short walk (3 - 5 minutes) and you’re right in the centre of Ghent. Apartment is nice and spacious, light and airy. Sofa bed was fine for an 11 and 7 year old, whilst we had the bedroom suite.

If I had to be pressed for improvement feedback, kitchen utensils lacked a few items I’m sure will be purchased for future guests. A colander to drain pasta and bigger mugs for coffee and tea would be our suggestions.

The property was exceptional. The location was perfect, so easy to access everything we wanted to see, and it was large and beautifully done! The excellent restaurant downstairs was an added bonus!

We would’ve loved bedside tables and lights for reading but that’s about it!
