Casetta Sapienza

We stayed here for two weeks over Christmas to visit my son, stationed at the nearby NATO base; we could not have been happier with the apartment, location, host, and Gaeta itself. Romina was welcoming and communicated well; she met us at the bus stop and walked us the very short walk to the apartment (less than a minute away), where she showed us everything we needed to know for our two-week stay; she was incredibly kind, and her thoughtful touches did not go unnoticed. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed to feel at home during our stay. The location was absolutely perfect for exploring the many open-air markets and little shops on Via Indipendenza, coffee shops, restaurants, the beach, the Christmas Market, medieval Gaeta, and the magic of Christmas that is evident walking around this beautiful town. Public transportation was easy to access, inexpensive, and came roughly every 20 minutes to Formia, making it very convenient for a day trip to Rome or Naples. Over the next few years, we will be visiting Gaeta often, and we will be staying here again.

The apartment is beautiful! The location is perfect, central to everything and overlooks a gorgeous piazza. Romina the owner is an exceptional host! The apartment is well presented with attention to detail and equipped with everything you could need in the kitchen, including some additional food items such as olive oil, juice and cakes, that makes you feel right at home. Romina was always available for anything we needed and even arrived with a bottle of sparkling wine for a birthday present! We would totally recommend Romina and her beautiful apartment to anyone coming to Gaeta. We will definitely be back. Mille grazie Romina ❤️

Great place located in the middle of the town. I will reserve it again. All the stores and the beach were walking distance from apartment.
